I remembered this week! Tonight's episode is the first of another two-part arc. Mugen, Jin, and Fuu join up with a young blind woman who decides to travel with them. But just who is she? Enjoy!

Well I certainly hope it's more intertaining that the rest of the episodes, I don't know what it is but I just can't get into SC, and believe me I've tried, although I will agree with alot of people, I still fail to see the SC Bebop association that everyone talks about, they are two totally different shows.

Hey cool, I'm first. This is actually the first Champloo episode I've watched in a while because Adult Swim's screwjob of scheduling it doesn't really help but it's fun to watch the show again. First started off pretty slow for me and I thought when the traveling entertainer started singing, it was almost the worst thing I've ever heard. But I soon got used to it. That hot spring scene was pretty funny, seeing how the woman and Mugen didn't really give a damn but Fuu was making a big event of the whole thing.
Also about Fuu, I found it her cautious-to-be-respectful-to-the-poor-blind-woman really annoying. And I don't know about you or if this has come up before but does Fuu has a thing for Jin? She made the decision to send Jin but was pretty much heartbroken when he actually left.
The end had me go 'W.T.F!" as I really didn't see that coming at all. The woman attacking Jin like that, with skills that look like they can take ol' boy down. Seriously, I didn't see it coming and it had a House of Flying Daggers feel to it (if you've seen that movie). But damn, good episode, can't wait for the next one next Wed, and it good to watch Champloo again.
Peace.

It's been a while since we had a two-parter, it seems - maybe back to the one about Mugen's past and the "pirates."
This is shaping up nicely - though a little slow, it's still just part of an hour-long story. Lots of nice character development here. I'm expecting some sweet action next week.

I recently saw this episode with my TiVo.
Another great episode! I figure it's about time that they showcased another episode with character development.
What Jin says in the beginning of the episode was crazy!
As any fanboy would want, there was a hot springs scene. I loved the way Mugen carried himself, especially yelling at Fuu!
MASK SYMBOLISM!
I also loved how Fuu reacted to the fact Jin just dumped them w/o much regret. And then Mugen rubbed it in her face.
The end caught me off guard.
I think it caught Jin off guard as well.

The end of this episode was great...I got an adrenaline rush when the chick and Jin started ropin' it out on the bridge. Bad ass!
I thought you got to see a more personal side to Mugen this episode as well...kinda went along the lines of "War of the Words" where you got a better look at him.
I enjoyed this...plus you got to learn more about Fuu's father and the quest she's on...
Good episode...
