I'm disgusted; CN cut the last episode.

Today Cartoon Network Europe displayed the last episode of the Big O serie. But at 20h45 TCM takes the place of CN. Thus the 26th episode had no time to finish, and CN cut it.
How disgusted I am ! I must now follow the end in reading the scenario on this site. I thank the guy who has had the friendship and the courage to write this.
But by the way, DO YOU REALLY THINK THERE WILL BE A THIRD SEASON ? I finished to read the script in this site. Well, .... I don't think a third season is needed.

The cut happened when Big Venus was approaching Big O, and when Roger was speaking to that megadeus. And afterwards, ..... CUT.
Anyway I just read the script on the main page of this site about the 26th episode, and I finished to read the scenario.
Waw

"The Big O" is finally like "the Truman Show", "the Matrix" but with another end: here we can say that Neo (Roger or Angel, I don't know) didn't choose the good door

So they walked into eachother then flash! it was over.
They edited the show like that once before in the US too... although all you missed was roger repeating his linves from the very first episode and driving down the street while dorothy and Angel stood at teh side of the road.

Cutting the end credits really changes the feel of the episode. Having the credits run while Roger does his "negotiator in a city of amnesia" spiel ties everything around to the first episode.

a year ago toonami were showing big o, which was the first time i ever watched it, i had just got digital tv and big o wsas the first thing i really watched, and the sob's stopped at episode 22!!, i went mad then bought series 1 and 2 from ebay but the seller ran out of stock on series 2!! and didnt realise, so i only got series one, then i didnt have much money(or had spent it on gundam models) until recently and i ordered the full 2 series boxset from ebay and 1 year after first seeing big o i finally got to see the end of it,and god was it worth the painful wait, it blew my mind, hell i think im still feeling the effects....

Wow! That brings back memories from when Adult Swim finally broadcast that episode. Before that, they completely screwed up by reairing Ep. 21 when they were supposed to have showed the finale. I remember somebody telling me that everyone in the online community really blasted CN for that. Deja vu.

Cartoon Network used to be basically a Scooby-Doo rerun channel, and you can see why the attitude might have been, "Who cares? No one's watching!" But they've gotten a lot bigger, and their occasional sloppiness really hurts them now.
