Lessy:

XBox
XBox 360
PS2
Gamecube

And somewhere there is a Gameboy Color or two

There used to be a Nintendo 64. But we got rid of it years ago. I used to watch my dad play Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time with my brother. We'd made him beat the final boss over and over. I just liked the songs that got you to the temples. I still remember a few of them.

Do....do you take hammers to them? Throw them across the room when you die too often? Use them as sleds?

I mean I can understand the PSX's randomly breaking because they feel like it, because that's what they're best at. "Oh no, you're playing the fifteenth game you've bought..and are really enjoying it..yeah, I'm gonna just shoot out my ball-bearings and possibly scratch the hell out of this disc. Thanks for buying Sony!"

But wow..two dead Genesi and a dead Cube? OUTSTANDING.
The Big Finale 09-13-2006 11:59 PM
The Playstations were bought used. Same with both Genesis.

The Gamecube, I think I left that plugged in and turned on for a straight week. I can't remember how it got trashed now - it's been at least a year.

Well I'm a Nintendo fan and in recent years a PC gamer too.

N64- (My first gaming system, what a buy! Many instant classics.)
PC- (Only in the past 3-4 years have I become addicted to this.)
Gameboy Colour- (I was silly and got one a few months before the GBA was making it's debut)
Gameboy Advance SP- (Fire Emblem, Advance Wars and Harvest Moon have consumed many days of my life)
Gamecube- (Alas though fun, I thought it never topped the N64. Though it's decline means there is a lot of cheap second hand games knocking around.)
Nintendo DS- (Innovative fun! I should really get more games for this)

I did this with a super nintendo when I was a kid. It stopped working so I decided to see if it could survive a fall out of a second story window onto the driveway.

It did, damn that thing was sturdy...and I mean by that point I'd gotten it into my head "it didn't break, now it has to" so I wound up hitting it with a hammer, and it still took a beating. After a while it just turned into me proving to myself I could take the thing out.

Anyway the full list and what happened to them would be

SNES- Like I said, it eventually gave in

Gameboy- Just wound up being lost at some point

Gameboy color- Absolutely no idea, I either lost it when I moved or it's still inside of a box that hasn't been unpacked..which would be nice since all the games I had would still be with it

PSX- I very vaguely remember trying to sell it, but that didn't work. I either lost it, or eventually did sell it (I think the day I brought it in I'd forgotten to bring one of the cords it came with) Either way its gone.

PS2- The only surviving/available one, still in use to this day.

And I very, very vaguely remember finding a...very very old console which if I remember correctly could only play variations of pong which were preloaded onto it (tank pong forever.)
