:: The Official AAA Update ::

Thanks, and now that I have your attention, welcome to my first edition of The Official Academy Anime Awards Update. This is an update to show you the members and all the guests on what's going down with the Academy Anime Awards... even if you like it or not.

To get things out of the way, I've already started putting together a list for the next AAA (That's right! I'm sticking with this thing and there are going to be more AAA's ). The list is for the anime series that are eligible for nominations since they have already been aired in the new year of 2006. The number of series I have down so far go down like this:

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lupin the Third, s-CRY-ed, FullMetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, InuYasha, and FLCL/Fooly Cooly.

Also, I decided on a new rule which is a current winner of a certain category can't be nominated again for the same category. I don't really know how to put in words but basically its like this; for example say Roger Smith wins the award for Best Male Character. He can't and won't be allowed to be nominated for the next AAA's for the same category. Get it? I think this will keep this interesting and not have the same nominee win everytime.

One more thing: I'm going to start announcing the winners on February 24, 2006.

Hey everybody. I'll be announcing the winners of the first annual Academy Anime Awards tomorrow, by naming each category one by one. But...

... there seems to be a couple of close calls with the voting and there also seems to be some ties as well. Well, we can't have ties and have two winners for one category, now can we?

If you guys some of you guys can help with the voting the ACA categories, such as Best Anime Series and Best Screenplay, I would really appriecate it.

I got a tie in two categories. One in Best Supporting Male Character and Best Original Song. If someone can help by voting and taking care of the tiebreaker, I'll really appriecate it!
