No Champloo on Saturday?!?!

While watching Adult Swim Sat. night (Jan. 7), I learned to my great shock that there will be new SC episodes on Wednesdays, but no second showings of those episodes on Saturdays! That totally blows for me and the schedule I'm on now.

At least until AS changes its lineup again, Saturday nights will be as follows:

Boondocks at 11:00
Stroker & Hoop at 11:30
Fullmetal Alchemist at 12:00
GITS: 2nd Gig at 12:30
Evangelion at 1:00
Cowboy Bebop at 1:30

I don't mind starting off the night with Boondocks, because it's da bomb (better in a lot of ways than the original comic strip), but STROKER AND HOOP?

We have to give up Mugen and Jin for Stroker and Hoop? Please....

If AS would stick S & H back on Sundays with the rest of the comedy shows where it belongs and bring back my boys, I would be one happy viewer!

It's hard for me to stay up any night until 1:00 watching anime when I have to roll out of bed at 5 o'clock to get ready for work. (Yes, yes, I know...I should break down and get a TiVo so I don't have be enslaved to AS's Nielsen games...)

(Sigh) I just want to believe that there are enough viewers to justify an all-action Saturday on AS. How will I make it through another Saturday night without my Jin?

Damn. That truly is messed up like you know what, but come on. It's Adult Swim. It's not like their going to do anything right.

And even though they took Samurai Champloo off Saturdays and replaced it with Stroker and Hoop (I actually find the show tolerable but still 'WTF' Confused ), at least they brought back Cowboy Bebop. That's one hell of a plus.
Peace.

meh. The DVD's are out so if they don't bring it back anytime soon, then the DVD's are always there.

I've got mixed feelings on this.

It was nice to have the new AS action all in one night.

But at the same time, I'm also open to spreading it out over the weekdays - InuYasha and Sam Champ on Tues and Wed, respectively. (And Evangelion on Thursdays still.)

In the end, I do prefer spread out over all in one spot. I usually record the shows anyway, so I don't have to worry about staying up late - which I can see as a problem.
