I just finished Starship Troopers (Roughnecks ftw), decided to give up on Paradise lost, and am now starting to read The Mote in God's Eye.

My latest book is Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.

You know, the book that was a best seller that spawned a sweet movie. I liked the movie, and I can tell the book is going to be different, but I think it's going to be a GREAT read.

I'm taking a break from the James Bond series for a minute and I'm brushing up on a book that I started a while back but never finished. So right now, I'm reading Schindler's List which the movie from '93 was based off of.

Also, I'm looking to get A Clockwork Orange and The English Patient. I found A.C.O. but I'm having trouble finding T.E.P.

I tried reading A Clockwork Orange. I couldn't undaerstand a word of it.

Do you mean the lingo that Alex and his boys use to talk with? They did that in the movie, and its confusing for a minute, but for the most part, its switching common words with strange ones that mean the same thing.

For example:
"My droggies, I'd like to viddy some ultraviolence."

Which translates to;
"My friends, I'd like to see some extreme and horrible violence."

Something around that nature, but I hope you get the point. Its just a point of paying attention to what they are really saying behind the words.

I remember this one kid that I used to know had that book, it kinda wierded me out at the time.

I'm re-reading Howl's Moving Castle. ... by Diana Wyne(?) Jones. love her stuff. I loved meoirs of a geisha! They messed it up in the movie though...

After reading MaGuire's Son of a Witch and McMahon's The Alchemist's Daughter within the span of a few days, I'm back to reading Faber's behemoth The Crimson Petal and the White, which I am a little more than halfway through.

After that I have DeLillo's White Noise and Coelho's By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept on my list.

I'm currently reading Shooting Blanks by James Dunnigan and Albert Nofi. It's really interesting, if you're into military history/analysis.

Today I'm attempting to finish Dream Country, vol. 3 of the Sandman Series by Neil Gaiman and et. al. Graphic novels are so quick to read. I just finished The Mark of the Succubus vol. 1 in half an hour or so...

A thick paperback called The Penguin Book Of Vampire Stories. It has a short story I adore called Drink My Blood by Richard Matheson. It is such a cool story, if not a bit sad.

The Government Manual for New Wizards...It's a very interesting and funny read I can't stop laughing when I read it ....

Southland Tales: Two Roads Diverge by Richard Kelly

Just finished Never Cry Wolf by Farley Mowat and am sorta reading The Moor by Laurie R. King. Also add Josh by Ivan Southall.

Multi-reading-tasking. I can sort of do that...
