This game is amazing. I can sum up how great it is simply by quoting a piece of dialogue from the Hammer Bros.
"AREA RESTRICTED. ALL NOOB INTRUDERS 2 B HAXORED BY US L33T HAMM3R BROZ.! WE R TEH SHROOB ALLLIES. WE ROXOR U AND THEN ROFL. THEN U AM CRY. WE RECEIVE ORDERS THRU ANTENNAS ON THESE L33T HELMETS. THEY R HOTNESS. WE MUST OBEY ALL ORDERS. WE LIKE 2 PWN NOOBS 4 TEH MASTER SHROOBZORS. U = NOOBS. BROZ = L33T. PREPARE 4 TOTAL OWNAGE WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT."

I bought it on Sunday, and it has lived up to every one of my expectations. I love the interactions between the 4 bros, especially when Mario and Luigi say "Babies".
I too don't know what to think.
Mind telling us what the gameplay's like?

Isn't it reminiscent of the Paper Mario games?
I love those games, and I'm guessing I need to get Partners in Time eventually.

Yeah it's the same type of timing based combat. If you played Superstar Saga for the GBA, it's the sequel to that.
Basically each character uses only one button, in and out of battle. It might take a little while to get used to it, but when you do it's a lot of fun.

A Mario Bros. character speaking in Leet.
The world is drawing to its conclusion, I see.
If you'll excuse me, I shall be at confessional.
...
In all honesty, what on earth is this you people are speaking of?
I've not heard of this game before.
