Cashern, a cool-looking live-action version of the Casshan anime was supposed to be brought over to the US via Dream's Go Fish Pictures in 2005. However, now that Dreamworks has been sold to Paramount, will the deal be broken? Because Cashern was never released in the US as far as I'm aware and 2005 is basically over.

Sadly, I heard that movie was total garbage.

Wasn't it even voted as one of the worst flims in Japan? (Along with Devilman LA)

It got a lot of bad press, but the visuals look great on the trailer. Movies aren't always about story (as much as I'd like them to be). I mean, King Kong's not exactly Shakespeare, but it's a visual feast. I think Cashern would have been a fun watch.
