That's a great idea. Now I feel like a real dork for not thinking of it. I lived through the transistion from flats to all digital printing at our school paper, so I remember the blue pencil days, but I never thought of using them for drawing. I also remember the old hot wax machine -- ah, the good old days! 
The animation is really cool, Ace. Is there supposed to be sound with it? I didn't get any when I tried the link. And to Prime, yes, a lesson in 3D would be cool. I hope more of our resident artists will post in here.
