Anyone seen this? Is it any good? I really want to watch it. It looks pretty awesome but I heard it has a sad ending.
EDIT: I finally watched the OAV. That was incredibly depressing but at the same time it kicked so much ass.

The manga of it that I read that my sister lent me was pretty badass. And it's being made into a James Cameron movie really soon, which will be damn cool.

Alita's ending's currently being revisioned via a whole new series- though, given the author's scheduling, it'll be a decade before it's completed. >_>
Also, they're making an Alita movie? Bloody awesome. Alita's probably amongst the top five of my all-time favorite manga series.

I've only read a few vols. of the manga. wasn't to bad, but certainly nothing to interesting.

Speak of the Devil in 2 years finally someone brought that subject up
since I was here lol, I originally made this thread about a year ago
how odd I don't find it on the old threads but anyways good that
you brought this up again , I always wanted to have a discussion
of Battle Angel and it's Status Storyline.
Yes I was an Obsessive Compulsive Fan of Battle Angel Alita.
call me Crazy but I just couldn't get enough of reading the
manga and starring at the cute faced Cyborg every time
I looked at the Manga. I didn't get to see the ending of
the Manga but I read and browsed a every volume.
I was amazed of how Ultraviolent it was.
She's definately one of my all time Favorite
Characters , It's definately and Sci Fi Manga
Action Thriller. I heard rumors and read one
the webpages that James Cameron was
going to Direct and make the film in a few years.
The is kind of funny but when I looked at the trailer
of the movie Aenflux starring Charlize Theron I actually
thought that it was Battle Angel but then again it was
Aenflux lol althought it was very convincing.

ok so if you still wanna know if its good the answer is. . . YES get it got it good! i've only seen the comics... ( manga/comic book form) but it is awesome for a battle type thing
