Episode 15 Discussion: "Bogus Booty"

We continue with another Mugen focused ep- with a lot more humor this time. Enjoy!

I loved that episode. Whats the name of the song that plays at the end?

this episode shows how a girl can get a guy to do anything as long as she knwos what he wants. they should of been playing noogie by limp bizkit during that huge fight scene.

Mugen: "I WANT MY NOOKIE!!!"
Of course the way she crushed Mugen's family jewels he might have some performance difficulties.
Also was it just me or was it Wendee Lee again that voiced that girl? For some reason the best stuff always happens when those two are opposite each other. Roger and Angel, Spike and Faye, Mugen and this girl and that one lady early on in the series, Jamie and Kiva. You could make a whole thread about that phenomanon.
Oh yeah, Jin can't catch a fish to save his life, while Fuu and Mugen each caught enough to feed all three of them.

That was a great episode. The whole premise of Mugen fighting an entire criminal orginization all for "nookie" was hilarious. I loved how persistant he was in his attempts as well. The scene with Jin fishing was pretty funny, especially when he found the gold. The way he sprinted back to Mugen and Fuu was classic. I also liked how Jin took out all of the ninjas in about 3 seconds, and then went back to his business. I did feel sorry for his back pain though. The ending in which the girl decides that she is going to marry Mugen seemed like a fitting end to that episode. Oh, and the song that the sang at the very beginning, was brilliant.

poor Mugan though... He did all that work for that ninja girl and she still left him high and dry at the end! What's wrong with her? I mean, it's not like she HASN"T been spending the past year or so working as a undercover prostitute...

i agree. one of the best eppisodes thus far.

Well that's true but she also said that she "fell in love with him" just sleeping with a perfect stranger because you have to and sleeping with someone you love are two very different things. She probably wanted to keep him on the hook...if he got what he wanted he probably wouldn't be interested anymore, which makes sense because if she had given him his "nookie" at the beginning I doubt Mugen would bother doing all that stuff.

All in all a very entertaining episode.

That was one of the best Samurai Champloo episodes I've seen yet. The beginning with Mugen impersonating Jin was HILAROUS! And ol' boy Jin couldn't catch a fish no matter what so he jumped in... It seems like Fuu can eat more than a Saiya-jin from DBZ, and that's quite a lot and it was funny when the henchmen were looking for a fat girl.

The girl that Mugen was messing around with seems perfect for him and that scene before commerical break...
The fight scene with her and Mugen was entertaining and I was waiting for her to go below the belt. But the last scene seemed to come from nowhere, which made it so damn good. "The man that she was going to marry." And it seemed to me that the girl sounded a lot like Sango from InuYasha but one of the best eps of far.

And did anybody check out the beginning with the narrator and the frog? Priceless...
