Yeah, so for those who are going to buy the Revolution, those who may be considering buying a Revolution, and those who are still thinking about it, when you get it, what old school Nintendo games would you get/buy for it?

This is my list.

NES
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania III
  • Contra
  • Final Fantasy
  • Ikari Warriors
  • Jaws
  • Kirby's Adventure
  • Legend of Zelda
  • Megaman
  • Megaman II
  • Megaman III
  • Metal Gear
  • Metal Gear II: Solid Snake
  • Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
  • Simon's Quest
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

SNES
  • Chrono Trigger
  • Donkey Kong Country
  • Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest
  • Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble
  • Final Fantasy II
  • Final Fantasy III
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Mortal Kombat 2
  • Secret of Mana
  • Super Mario All-Star
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Mario RPG
  • Super Metroid

N64
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Banjo-Tooie
  • Castlevania
  • Conker's Bad Fur Day
  • Goldeneye 007
  • Killer Instinct Gold
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
  • Paper Mario
  • Perfect Dark
  • Starfox 64
  • Super Mario 64
  • Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

While this may seem like a lot, I doubt I'd be able to afford all of them. However, this is the majority of what I want and the majority I remember having fun with. My N64 game collection is nice, but it's gone to waste since my mom misplaced the system itself.

I don't know, emulators have been working pretty fine up until now.

and the only games I got really wanted were Super Mario World and Mega Man X.

Super Metroid, Super Mario Bros, and the super underground Mischief Makers for the N64. Great, great, great game, but bloody impossible to find.

Indeed... In fact, a new version of Nestopia came out yesterday and it handles all the NES games on his list.

However, the N64 games... Yeah, don't even THINK of emulating them. N64 emulators are horrible, slow, basically buggy pieces of crap.

Is it going to be free? I've heard that the service is either going to be free or cheap.

Anyway, I'd probably get every game I loved when I was a kid. old NES and SNES carts are sometimes hard to find and usually don't work. Plus, yeah, there's no good N64 emulators. And I need me some Mario 64.

It also depends on your comp to. Try playing an N64 rom on a comp with 256 megs of ram and a inigrated video card. Not a good thing. But with 768 megs and a subpar video card I can play alot of n64 games just great, depending on what video plugin im using.
