Tonight's show begins the return of new episodes of Samurai Champloo! As I mentioned before, this is the first of a two-episode arc, both of which are two of the best episodes in the series. Enjoy! Big Grin

As I've already watched these two episodes in Japanese, I can say that it is very interesting learning Mugen's past history. Big Grin

Won't say more then that, since I don't want to spoil it. Wink

Indeed, it is very cool to get to see part of Mugen's past. We have already seen a bit of Jin's, but Mugen remains a mystery. Hopefully the next episode will explain what he was supposed to be executed for, and everything else that was just mentioned in this episode.

I have to say though, that the way Mugen treated the girl from his island was pretty wierd. One would think that he would actually be happy to see her since they did grow up together.

Anyway, I'm really glad the new episodes are here, and I cannot wait to see more.

Please don't. I fell asleep Saturday night and missed it.

I thought the episode was very interesting and to see a new side of Mugen was interesting as well. We know about Mugen's past as much as we know what the hell happened at the end of Act 26 in Big O so it was cool to see the episode go into his past.

That scene with Mugen jumping off the cliff was pure genius. That was one of the best scenes I've ever seen in anime and his speech before he jumped was phemonenal as well.

That was weird how Mugen was treating her. It seemed like he there was a past connection but Mugen, like or not really like himself, didn't care all that much about it. Anyway, it's good to see the new episodes of Champloo and I'm ready for more!
Peace.

Now, if only we could have an episode that delves a bit into Jin's past... Big Grin
