Since nothing else good is coming out near the end this year, it's best we do this now. YAY!
In all genres/forms of music, what do you think was the best album of this year?
Personally, I have to say either Queens of the Stone Age's album "Lullabies to Paralyze" or NIN's album "With Teeth".
Anyone else?

I don't care...it's still The Beatles' Revolver.
I really ought to pay more attention to modern music.

Agreed, "With Teeth" is pretty good.

I really liked "Illinois" by Sufjan Stevens. "Twin Cinema" was also good, but not the best.
Too many.
"Crimson" - Alkaline Trio
"Found in the Flood" - The Bled
"Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV" - Coheed & Cambria (I'm gonna get flack for this one, but screw y'all.

Some of the best guitar and bass work this year)
Avenged Sevenfold's "City of Evil" was in the running, if only for its amazing guitar riffs, but some of the tracks really let me down.
And also, a few a discovered this year but didn't come out this year:
"Relationship of Command" - At the Drive-In
"in/Casino/OUT" - At the Drive-In

i considered last year one of the best for music ever, so i think this year is a little lackluster when compared to 2004.
last year, we had:
Interpol - Antics
The Faint - Wet From Birth
Keane - Hopes and Fears
Moving Units - Dangerous Dreams
My Chemical Romance - 3 Cheers For Sweet Revenge
Piebald - All Ears, All Eyes, All the Time
but, there are a couple that i've really liked this year, including:
The Bravery - S/T
Common - Be
