Amen. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that whoever cast him in a musical should be shot.
Rent is WAY overrated. It's good, but not THAT good. I refuse to see the movie after the atrocity that was Phantom of the Opera.
The best musical production I ever saw was Fiddler on the Roof, which was actually a community production in my hometown. It was eventually picked up by a national production company, and the cast ended up doing a reginal tour, because it was such a good production. And on a slightly related note, Gwen Stefani should be shot as well for "covering" "If I was a Rich Man [Girl]."
