Peace.

I outgrew the Halloween scene years ago, but a friend of mine convinced me to throw a masquerade party this year. Therefore, I'm going to try to dressing up/cosplaying as Seifer Almasy from
Final Fantasy VIII. He's not my favorite
Final Fantasy villain, but he would be easy and inexpensive as I have his hair and many materials necessary for his outfit. I'm looking forward to it.

We use to celebrate Halloween mainly for the candy but we out grew it so what my brother and I watch are mainly all of Ghost Busters along with the animated series like eps like "When Halloween was Forever" "Halloween 1 1/2" "Citizen Ghost" etc. Also I am a big fan of the Halloween movies. Micheal Myers rules!

I suppose...I shall be doing nothing this year but hand out candy to the 3 or 4 kids that come here each year and eat the left over candy

....Halloween has never been the same since I stopped dressing up...But I do still get lots of candy

Sitting in the dark, waiting to beat the demons over the head with a phone.
Because thats the TRUE meaning of halloween..or something...I'm pretty sure celtic tradition involved beating the hordes of darkness up with telecommunication instruments.

No...it was appeasing the demonic hoards with candy to stop them from destroying earth...or something like that.
I might do something interesting or go for a Goth looking on Halloween if I can manage it. Maybe trick-or-treat with my friends to scare little kids. I have the coat right for the job.

Unfortunately for me, Halloween is the VERY FIRST DAY after my Half-term holiday ends, so I'll be watching as many flicks prior as I can before I'm dragged back for coursework

When I was in high school, me and a bunch of friends made an "anime club" that would meet every wenesday afternoon (school ended around 12ish on wenesdays). We would then grab a tv from the AV room, or where ever we could find one and watch anime.
During Halloween some of us cosplayed as various characters.
My 3 costumes were, Vegeta, Tuxedo Mask

, and Spike Spiegel.
Out of all three my Spike was the best, and needs just a few slight improvments.
I don't have anything planned this year, but I will be making a AC Cloud costume for an anime convention next year.

Lets see last year's Halloween was just ehh not Halloween for me I got stuck all day at the world's mst longest horse show. The other school runnning it just did it so slowly. Instead of the show running from 9am to Noon it lasted until 6 pm! Blah just so wrong.
I hope this year's Halloween may be better but where I am right now seems to be pretty slim pickings. I do love the costumes part! ^_^"

Well this year I plan on reusing my costume from the anime Convention I went to in Toronto. Man I can't wait for the stares and the OMG what is that chants.

I actually stopped partipicating in Halloween because its only little kids around my 'hood and no one even does anything for Mischief Night. But anyway, one of the last things I remember doing for Halloween was I came up with the best Halloween costume idea... I dressed up as a girl. I got my mama's makeup, an outfit of my sister's and some stillo heels and I went out with my brother on the night of the town. My father saw me and had that look in his eyes that we need to talk and where did I go wrong look

. Anyway, in my costime, I was so convincing that almost every house I went to, they always addressed me a ma'am or girl and couldn't even tell that I was a guy.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you. You guys have a memories like that for Halloween?
Peace.

Yeah they curtailed that heavily in my town.
I miss the days when I could terrify kids away by emerging from the darkness of my lawn waving a bat, or a replica cavalry saber.
I went as "angry landowner" every halloween.

I'll express this years halloween algebraicly.
X + 8Y + Z = Halloween.
When X = One chainsaw without blade
Y = One Friend
Z = Camera

This year there will be a Halloween party at or Vice Prsident of Drama Cubs house and I have my costume picked out. I'll be a "punk rocker chick". I'll wear my cool short blue hair wig, a black mesh like shirt over a black tank, a orange shirt that I roll up to make shorter, black fishnets, my big boots (mom calls them my "Hermen Hunster" boots), I'll also have black nails, darks eyes, and black lips.
I LOVE HALLOWEEN FOR THE COSTUMES!!!!!!!!!

The only two costumes I ever considered "worth it" were the following:
One year I was the grim reaper
One year I was Michael Moore. The idea to do that hit me at 1 am the night before. All I did was wear a flannel shirt stuffed with newspapers so it was some halfassed fat suit, put on a red sox baseball cap, and wear the glasses off of a groucho face with the nose part removed.
I probably won't do jack sh** this year. Unless through some weird chance I wind up at a halloween party. At which point...whatever costume I decide on will be nonsensical as hell, and consist of things I find lying around a room.

This Halloween Alana will be going serious goth. Which will surely frighten Parental Unit M as Alana has never before gone trick-or-treating let alone dressed up for the day.
Pictures will most likely be posted.

I'm excited about Halloween - I just need to find the time now between assignments to actually make our costumes!
GK & I are going to a couple of parties on Halloween weekend. Me as old school Marvel Girl, him as Matt Hardy.

That's not much of a costume for GK...it's more like being himself.
I plan to have some fun with trick-or-treaters. As some of you may remember, my family and I made a bunch of those stick figures from
The Blair Witch Project, and I believe that's part of the plan this year. However, I have an entire weekend before, and I am off on Halloween, to prepare for this. It's going to be great!
I'll probably, once again, dress in my black cloak and monkey mask, and see how that goes.
