Just as planned.

Look at least he's not writing silent hill 2, as was rumored.

Have all the irritating little goth bitches wielding scythes or whatever this drivel is, the second pyramid head becomes comedic relief for the hot topic crowd, someones car blows up.

I love how "racketeering" sounds like "rocketeering" in this trailer.

Don't know. I don't think the script as been completed, let alone the casting.

RIDLEY SCOTT'S AMERICAN GANGSTER TRAILER UP

The trailer looked pretty good... never mind that the emphasis of Crowe trying to capture Washington or them interacting at all wasn't shown all that well but it was good nonetheless.

Really, on that front, I've seen better in magazines.

It... sounded like "racketeering" clearly to me, but I can see where it could sound like it. And good God, TI is in this? Bad form, Scott. Bad form. Why do musicians carry the false notion that they can act for some reason. Because of the Academy, I for one blame Cher.

This is probably up D and DM's alley, but Tim Story is set to direct The Losers from DC/Vertigo.

With the current trends of fourth installments in franchises (Indiana Jones, Die Hard, Rocky - in a way), why not another Beverly Hills Cop on top of that?
Peace.

Some news about the Marvel adaptations coming soon; like Captain America, Thor and Marvel Zombies (yeah...)

Damn good international news about Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna starring in another Alfonso Cuaron picture... yay!

AHAHA... apparently, Mischa Barton and Bruce Willis are starring in a high version of Chinatown. Roman Polanski is rolling in his underaged grave.

Should have gone in the Watchmen thread, but I'm here now; Keanu Reeves is not going to be in Watchmen. He turned it down, so there.

Sylvain White to direct the Castlevania film.
Peace.

This is hilarious... apparently, the German government isn't letting Bryan Singer direct his latest film, Valkyrie, at their military sites because Tom Cruise is attached to the project.

"[Filmmakers] will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult," Germany Defense Ministry spokesman Harald Kammerbauer said.

There maybe a third and fourth Kill Bill coming up.

Some post production info on Iron Man and Hilary Swank is involved.
Peace.

No, I was making fun of your spelling. Is Magento Magneto's arch nemesis in this movie, wielding power over the color red?

And that... is an awful lot of adaptations, remakes and sequels. Is there not a single original movie on its way out for '08 and '09?
War.

Oh, have fun with that then I guess. And there's going to be a lot of trouble brewing in Hollywood by the time 2008 gets around here.

Anyway, Kevin Spacey is returning to the Superman sequel - Man of Steel.

Devil May Care, the newest James Bond book coming out in 2008 and set in the Cold War.

Info on the X-Men, Spider-Man, Wolverine and Superman franchises.

Will Smith's John Hancock... that's right, you heard me.

Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, Monster's Ball) is directing the next James Bond film, with Paul Haggis and Daniel Craig.
Peace.
