BAMBI II: Electric Bugaloo.

...although that picture looks more like a re-release of the original movie. Damned evil Disney, taking things off the market "forever" just to make a new release a few years later.

I hope the entire movie is from the point of view of the guy who shot bambi's mother.

She totally had it coming, anyway.
Nine Kuze 09-30-2005 01:34 PM
Sorry about the confusion but the poster I put up was the first one. I just wanted a picture of Bambi to show that there was going to be a remix... er, sequel.

And how did Bambi's mama have it coming?!

She was in a drug cartel. I mean it's been a while since I've seen it but its all there.

That shot was way, way too professional to be a simple hunting mishap. She got offed by a rival drug lord.

And that rabbit? You think he was just "like that"? Nah, she was selling the stuff to the whole forest.

So the mother was a Drug Mule? Drug deer even...

It would explain the crack-rabbit. And how everyone's all singy and cheerful. Except for Bambi's dad. You know the only thing he smokes is tobacco.

So that's your game, uh Disney? But it all makes sense and because of this, the world now makes sense. Big Grin

Anyway, I was surfing around and I found information on the third installment of the Fast and Furious trilogy but to me, it sounds pretty bad. But hey, look on the good side. Paul Walker isn't in it. Happy

:: 3 Fast, 3 Furious ::

Also, Curious George gets his big screen debut on as well.

Peace.

There gonna be a Scary Movie 4!

Check it out here and in the beginning, it has Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil!

Also, Keira Knightley talks about the Pirates In The Caribbean franchise. Man, Keira is fine...

Also, Nicholas Cage maybe a joke but this isn't...

Peace.

What exactly did you EXPECT?

The second one had that chick who played miho in sin city. Otherwise you're watching a two hour circle jerk over ricers.

edit: HIT DA SPRAY. DA WHISTLES GO WOOOOOOO. ETCETERA.

Wait...Nicholas Cage named his child Kal-el? Wow, I've heard a lot of silly celebrity baby names but this ranks right up there with the worst. Those poor babies *sheds tear* Crying sure they are born into wealth but whose going to take you seriously with a name like that?! Another act of celebrity selfishness...never think of their children, do they? Well at least Cage proved himself to be the ultimate Superman fanboy ( because honestly this is taking it a step too far).

This is a cinematic GEM in the making...

Snakes on a plane

It's Samuel L. Jackson as an FBI agent...whos on a plane...and there are also SNAKES on the PLANE.

Anyone else thinking of that old SNL skit about the cobras on the plane?

Anyway...it could be a comedy...it could be serious...I don't really care. I somehow feel a strong compulsion to go see a two hour movie about snakes on a plane.

Especially if at one point samuel l jackson's character flips the hell out on a snake (while both the snake and his character are on a plane thats in mid air).

Really, this may be the greatest idea ever concieved by mankind now that I think of it.

you have got to be kidding me...ANOTHER fast and the furious?! and to top it of it takes place in and I quote, "The sexy japanese underworld" and has a random rapper that thinks they can act (BowWow). oh man this going to be good. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Depends on how sexy you find blackmail. And thats...basically how the Yakuza operates, that and protection rings.

Hell are they even underground? I'm pretty sure they have connections to the government/establishment...not really even secret ones. But I'm not an expert so yeah.

Oh and again it'll suck more because...it's a SEQUEL TO THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS.

Right. I will only watch it if the surprise twist ending is Vin Diesel comes in his almighty car of American Manliness and runs over all the japanese cars.

Bow Wow can put on a good show. I saw Rollbounce yesterday (I didnt even hear of the movie up until the title came on) and it wasn't half bad. Of course, I'm biased towards the 70's.

Thats just weird.

The ultimate thing to do is make your kids middle name "major" as an allusion to Major Major Major Major from Catch 22

That I thought this would be kind of interesting. It's about Hayden Christensen talking about Star Wars and thoughts on it. Take a look.

Peace.

People, I don't know how you are going to take this news, but since the fifth sequel sucked, there's going to be a sixth movie of this franchise.

Personally, I was shocked.

I also thought I'd do this. It's called "What Could Have Been" and its about actors who could have played roles that they just didn't get. Here we go.

In James Cameron's epic, Titanic, Gwyneth Paltrow was supposed to be Rose but Kate Winslet got the role instead.

Lawrence Fishburne played Morpheus in the Matrix trilogy but that role was originally for Russell Crowe. Good thing he was doing A Beautiful Mind at the time.

Batman Begins director, Christopher Nolan, was written his own Howard Hughes biopic last year and he wwas going to have Jim Carrey play Hughes. But Martin Scorsese and Leo DiCaprio beat him to it.

Damn, unfortunatly, that's all I can think up off the top of my head at the time. When I come up with more, I'll post them.
Peace.

Didn't they also want Will Smith to play Neo?

Dosen't matter. Nothing could have made the two sequels worse...absolutely nothing.

I hear that. The second was oaky but the third was weak. And the end of the third... damn, don't get me started.

Anyway, I was watching the AFI's 100 Years of 100 Best Quotes and all the quotes are incredible. Here's a list of the 100 Best Quotes and here's a list of the 100 Best American Movies of all time.
Peace.
Dork 10-25-2005 08:45 PM
I watched that AFI Greatest Quotes thing the other night. It was interesting to watch. But it's focus was off center. Sometimes the quotes were mentioned because they were truely good, most because they have become part of American pop culture, a handful were picked, it seemed, just because someone liked them.

Doing a "100 best of" list for a topic as broad as english language movies is something of an ill-conceived idea. AFI either needed to add a few qualifiers in that title or rename the whole thing "100 Most Memorable Quotes" but even that doesn't do it.

That being said I can't believe Golem's 'My precious' quote made the cut. He may have been the only enjoyable thing about that set of movies but that doesn't make it right. Seriously, the only point in watching those movies is so that you can say that you've seen it and get it over with.

That's actually quite true, Dork. Even though it was fun and entertaining to watch, there were some quotes in there that made you wonder how the hell did they get on this list. I also think that Golem's line shouldn't have been in there, although it's not bad at all.

But I'm not sure about what you meant about the just watching the movies to say that you saw them part. I have seen some of those movies and there still pretty enjoyable for the most part, even though the majority of them are older than our parents.

Also, here's a little info on the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale. This is the first book of the Bond series and the new Bond is some dude named Daniel Craig, who's blonde!! (Sighs) Ian Fleming must be rolling in his grave. (JK)
Peace.
