This is Paradigm City Hustla, first time postin' something on the threads and along time fan of Paradigm City.com. Damn, I just wish I registered sooner. Talk about late registration, huh Kanye?
Anyway, I wanted my first thread to be on my love of Big O. Now we all know that there are a lot of things to love about Big O; the megaduses, the strange secrets and loose threads, Dorothy, and that buckwild ending in Act 26. But another aspect which I absolutely love Big O for is the philosophy that foretells throughout the series such as free human beings standing in the rain, within different people there are many truths, and looking within one's self to find the proof of their existence and finding who there really are.
That what separates Big O from the rest of the anime shows. Don't get me wrong, kids. I'm down with Dragonball Z, Ghost In The Shell, and Lupin The Third and I love those shows as must as the next Super Saiya-jin, android, and gentleman thief but these shows aren't going to envoke you to take a seriously look within your self and help you find out who you are, what sets you apart from the rest of the world, and what priniciples you want to base your life on.
I know something like this has been done before but, since watching Big O, I've based myself on the free human beings standing in the rain and I'm wondering if this or other proverbs like this have had a big impact on you like this as well.

Enough with the serious hustlin'.

I've been reading the forums a while now and I have read just every theory, clue, and predictions and I gotta say, it's amazing and inspiring just listening to you guys go through every episode and link different things together in an attempt to learn the truth about Paradigm City.
My thoughts:
The more I keep watching 'The Third Big' and other Big Fau episodes, the more I'm leaning towards the fact that in another time, Dorothy Wayneright was the dominuse of Big Fau.

The role of Paradigm City's director changes every time the Event occurs. That would explain how Gordon Rosewater knew so much. So in the next version of the city, Angel will be playing the role of Gordon to the new director who directs the Paradigm stage.

Jason Beck was a Big O pilot, explaining his memory that he recovered about how he knew that Roger Smith was the Big O dominuse and how he knew about the Final Stage Attack.

Also, there are many other things that have been bothering me that I noticed. Such as, in Act 25 when Roger calls Big O and Behemoth awakens, Big O's arm shot up from the ground. If Roger was already underground then exactly how far does he keep Big O? In Act 23, you see airplanes approaching Paradigm but then Gordon says that the Union doesn't exist. Then what the hell were the planes about if the Union's attack was actually the stagelights from the 'Superdome'? And one last thing; on the new book of Metropolis as Angel becomes the Director, not only were there wings on the book but Angel had the surname Rosewater. This bugs the hell out of me because does that mean that only Rosewaters have the divine right to be the Director's of the city or does it mean something else?
That's all for now. Soon, I hope I can put in a Season 3 fan fiction piece together about a the daily life of a detective in Paradigm City. Holla at a hustla. Peace.

Hello to you P.C.H. glad you're a member now. I joined just recently too (even though I watched Big O for five year already!) so yeah talk about late registration. The show's a masterpiece man, and I'm sure their are so many more things to uncover. I have yet to see the finale episodes of season two, so I'm even more in the dark about all the mysteries of Paradigm. So if you got anything to talk about let me know. Till next time.
