Episode 12 Discussion: "Disorder Diaries"

I just saw this ep on DVD.

For a recap ep, it was good. Fuu's outlook on everything was funny. I'm thinking you shouldn't get between her and food at all. The guys reacting to her comments about them were funny.

Classic Mugen was when he opened her diary and exclaimed that he couldn't read. Very typical.

Already saw the next one.. and that one is good too.

As BG said, very good for a recap story. My husband missed "Lethal Lunacy" and I was hoping they would have a better recap of that.
Typical teenager, she's thinking about food.
Yes, she does get kidnapped an awful lot.
My husband thinks there are a lot of brothels. Or is that just the circles these three seem to be traveling in?

I really dislike those types of episodes unless ive missed episode, but since i havent i felt it was a waste since i had already seen everything. I watched it with a lot of friends and they hadnt seen them all so that was good i guess

It may have been a recap....but...it was done in a good way. Sort of like the 'Vash the Stampede' episode in Trigun. Where as the recap was more or less brought on by Meryl trying to do her progress report rather then just having characters reflecting and remembering events of the past episodes.

But hearing stuff from Fuu's point of view was kind of funny. I also like the part where she made stuff up because she knew that they would read her diary.

Like everyone has said, for a recap episode, this was very good. Not many series can pull off an entertaining recap, and I was shocked that SC was able to. At least we got to see the stories from a new viewpoint, and they pretty much proved that Fuu has a thing for Jin. Mugen's responses to the things Fuu wrote were classic, and the "I can't read line" was perfect. Not a GREAT episode, but good for a recap.

this epp had me on the floor laughing. i loved jin's expression when they saw the last page. anyone maybe have that cap?

Yeah, this is how shows should do recap episodes. (Like the Trigun episode mentioned earlier.)

Did they even add a few scenes. I don't remember the time each character talked with the monk. But I may have just missed it.

I'm glad they showed the full ending sequence, even though it had a different song. I got a little peeved they didn't show a new episode this week though, since it really wouldn't kill them to show all 24 episodes at once.

I liked this episode, it was funny. The best was in the beginning when Mugen got the diarie, looked at it and said "I can't read"..... lol.
Poor Jin had to read it out loud for him.

No, you are right. They added those scenes between our pals and the monk. I think that gave us a new perspective on their relationship.
