Mugen and Fuu were so totally oblivious as that guy choked to death on his lunch!

sick but funny!

Wow, that was a good episode. I could tell from the start that the guy was using a Chinese technique (thank you Kill Bill Vol 2 and your Chinese swords). He made a pretty good bad guy, especially since that is one thing this series is lacking. It was really wierd to see Mugen acting serious rather than goofing around the whole time. It seemed very out of character. The final battle was very cool, and it appeared as if Mugen learned how to do a weaker version of that technique. I could be wrong though. Overall, a good episode, but it really made me want an actually villain for the series.

P.S.
The beginning when the man choked to death, was almost sad. Once again however, I find comedy in tragedy as I had a pretty hearty laugh over it.

First off, very good episode! Big Grin

I think that Mugen is serious on the inside, yet shows a carefree attitude. He had met an oppinet that could have killed him, and Mugen lives for that type of challenge. Wink
I am still not 100% sure what was up with Mugen being able to do that chi wave... Oh Well

First off, I enjoyed that episode, more than most actually.

As far as Mugen goes, we don't know a whole lot about him do we? Less than Fuu or Jin. He's not traditional or respectful, but he can back it up with kick-ass sword technique ( whatever it may be).

I like how people tested each other. Jin drew the sword on the priest, the "streetkiller" dropped the pot while handing it to Mugen.

And may I point out that Mugen finally had a drink and didn't get into a load of trouble!

Yeah that was an awesome episode, but i dont fully understand Mugen and that chi thing cause his version was anything compared to the villians, but it was an awesome battle especially when he pulled the knife out of his sheith

His name was Ukon in the past, but he changed it to Shoryuu.

BTW, this is a great episode, and it also happens to be where I got my current avatar from. Smile

I just saw the episode today cause I missed it saturday, and boy howdy was it awesome. one of my friends told me there was a shaolin monk type guy in this one, but I wasn't sure what to expect. But it sure did blow my expectations away!

When Shoryyu cut Mugen's hands with the windage, I was like," Sh*$ Damn!" I was sad though when the old guy didn't get a chance to fight...but he was looking mighty Akuma-ish with the chakra beads though. I think this is my faveorite episode that i've seen to date.

I can't remeber right thisi moment, but didn't the guy who did Shoryyu's voice do someone else on some other AS recent anime? hmmmmm...

This is one of my favorite episodes that I've seen so far. I hope I don't miss too many more episodes. I'm really liking this series.

I noticed that.

Great ep. Poor Jin for getting stuck doing everything. But I do have to say that Mugen and the serious way he trained for the fight with Shoryuu was interesting. He really wanted to beat the guy. Although, him not wanting to mediate under the waterfall was typical of him. LOL!
