A Book for Steam Fans

Farm Engines and How to Run Them is a Lyons Press reprint of a 1901 book on farm engines. While gasoline and gas engines are touched on briefly, most of the book is taken up with steam engines, either stationary or in tractors.

The first three chapters go into the types of steam engines, their construction, and the advantages of different types. It is the sort of detail that I find quite interesting. I believe other steam enthusiasts would enjoy this book as well.
