ADV Sale 'til July 6th

Hey everybody, I don't know if we can "advertise" on the forums. But I got a notice that ADV is having a 50-75% off sale on some of their titles - anime and manga. Here is a link to their website:

I already bought some stuff during their Memorial Day sale that were great bargains.

Which leads me to a question:

I see that Generator Gawl is a title on sale. It looks interesting. Anybody know much about it? Is it good? Comparable to other titles? Is it worth $20 to buy the series?

Just remember that some of the items are unsold returns, and may have the barcode on the back slashed out.

Y'know, I did notice that on some items I purchased. What does that mean?

Man.....that Saiyuki DVD 7+Box It going for only $9 bucks O_O !? I wonder if my mom would go for it? Probaly not though since I asked her for both OLS and Gungrave boxsets >_< ....

From the stuff I've received from this site, it looks like they took a hot needle or nail and poked it through the UPC mark on the packaging.

I've listened to one CD and watched one DVD - I haven't noticed any lack in quality. And the packaging all seems to be complete - inserts and stuff like that.

Yeah if they are unsold returns then everything should be in it, just with a runined UPC
