Episode sypnosis/analysis

Hi I wanna ask something about the 1st & 2nd Episodes of Big O Season 1- see I couldn't undertant the connection between Dorothy & those 2 old men- can someone plz explain to me what it was all about? All I could get was that there were 2 Dorothys- the one that Roger met & the one that Beck used to steal the bank.....

Dr. Wayenright gave Solderno blueprints and instructions on how to build Dorothy 1(the megadeus) in exchange for Solderno using his resources and Wayneright's instructions to build R. Dorothy for Dr. Wayenright. R. Dorothy was the android re-creation of Dr. Wayneright's deceased daughter.

Solderno originally only cared for Dorothy 1 (why he was disappointed when beck gave him R. Dorothy) and thought of it as his daughter.

Ugh.. This is awkwardly worded... I hope it helped.

The Manga does a far better job of explaining it than the show.

And I think Solderno was a little nutso, or at least it was "just the deranged rantings of a dying man" (or however Dorothy describes it! )

Some people speculate that we see a young Solderno greeting Dorothy at the dance club during Roger's dream sequence in Episode 14: Roger the Wanderer. This sounds nice, but the one question I have is if that is true, then what happened to give Solderno such a pointy head?

Yeah, he's pretty crazy. You'd have to be to consider a megadeus your daughter, and do business with Beck.

XD So true, so true... (hell, I'm a Beck fangirl and I still agree with BOTH parts of that one....)

I'd say Peeps Bucket did a pretty good job of explaining it, though they left out that Timothy Wayneright originally made the blue-prints for Dorothy 1 and R. Dorothy, which he regained after regaining a memory of his. (I think...?)
