We're coming up on episode 7 of SamCha- I hope you guys are still watching, since it seems like there hasn't been a lot of discussion lately on the show... Well, for everyone still watching (and you won't be sorry you did), enjoy!

That episode was not very interesting to say the least. They tried to have another sad ending like they did with the Ogre yet I felt nothing for this kid. I also noticed that the animation looked very poor, at least in this episode.

Once again i was thoroughly pleased. Not as much samurai action as usual but they made up for it with a real good story to go along with the episode. This has become one of my favorite animes. Thanks for openin me up to it guys!

Well, I actually missed quite a bit of this episode. I was rather distracted during it. However, I liked what I saw when I was not. I honestly prefer the sad endings, because honestly, who wants to watch people who live happy lives. Though the story was not completely original, it was done very well. I also liked the flash back we saw of Fuu before she met with the others. I assume that person who was lying on the ground was her mother, I'm not sure though. Even though I missed a lot, I enjoyed the episode. Good episode from what I saw.

This episode was okay - I had a good idea of where it was going. (And hearing Johnny Yong Bosch's voice as the pickpocket was nice!)
I'd like to see more interaction with the three main characters. They're all very interesting and mixing their personalities creates entertaining situations.
My favorite part was Mugen bursting through the police and storming the building.
And the flying squirrel needs more screen time!

Ha, yeah the action sequences are cool and impressive(as opposed to many other anime). Ya know at first I thought what that guy stole was a Bar of Soap... then cocain... then I realized it was.... what was it agian!? Morphine? I tihnk it started with an O... but uh... only when the guy stated the name did I realize the ruckas.
The music at the end... it was... odd... I kinda feel it didn't really fit after the son died, and didn't express what the girl was thinking... but then agian maybe the girl was only a little bit regretful later on when the music was playing and I got the wrong impression...
... wait...what squirll?!

The ending was pretty emotional. The mother's reaction almost brought a tear to my eye.

This was a bittersweet episode. I had hoped the guy would have gotten a chance to change his ways but, sadly, he didn't.

The scene in the end where Fuu visited the mother one last time was VERY cliche. How do all these dead guy's mothers/wives/sisters/girlfriends know that they are dead already?

Same here, I knew in my gut that it would turn out this way, but I didn't want it to.
I had forgoten just how beautiful the art is in SC.
