Unofficial S-cry-ed Thread

I forgot to record this on Saturday so I watched it last night. I have seen all the episodes already in subbed form and was curious who they got to play the charicters. Lets just say that I couldn't beleive all the VA's I laughed alittle when I found out who was doing the charicters.Laughing

The anime is very good and should be watched.

Meh.

It seemed like a more violent/mature Dragonball/Z/GT to me...

Indeed, I watched the first episode and thought the same thing. It seemed really average (as far as story, characters, and action go) to me as well. I'll keep watching in hopes that it gets better though, then again it may just be me.

It was okay. I'll probably watch another episode of it. So far I can take it or leave it. Giving it a chance.

I'm....starting to like this show now Big Grin ....I guess S-cry-ed is one of those shows you have to wach more then one episode to like (at least this took me 2 episodes, unlike CB witch took me a longer time to get into (a year and a half after it's first ever run on AS!) O_o ....)....

so far every time seen the hero and his rival from holy or whatever! i think for some weird reason they remind of vegeta and goku! they seem to have a making of a weird relationship like theirs! lol
Ano Hito 06-05-2005 03:59 PM
To me it just looked like another robot fighting show. So far I'm totally unimpressed.

I pretty much liked the show. I'm thinking that this is from the person who made Gundum seed, but I've been thinking too much. I thought that was sad how that one guy didn't remember that girl who came to work at holy.

I have to agree with you that it definatly seems more like gundam. As for Cougar he is definatly the man but I won't say to much about him to spoil it. Oh and I can't wait for the next episode. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

I don't know who Cougar is yet...
Negotiator_Roger_Smith 06-19-2005 12:00 AM
i have ? does the hero get more attacks in series then just 3 bulllet arm attacks!
BabyGhia 06-20-2005 04:10 PM
So far I'm considering this anime good fluff. Hopefully it ends up to be more than meets the eye. But if it doesn't, I guess it's okay. We'll see.

LOL! I do have to agree there. I end up laughing through most of his scenes.

I hate S-cry-ed. I really, really, really do. I think it may even beat Naruto, and Canadite for Goddess for the worst anime award.

This is an okay anime, so far. It's a nice change in pace from Samurai Champloo and Paranoia Agent (and other more serious stuff like Ghost in the Shell and Wolf's Rain).

The phrase that comes to my mind at the moment is "harmless fun." And I don't mean that badly. This is a fun show with how the characters interact and some of the ridiculousness of the speed-freak character (see below) and the overdramatacism of using powers (Second bullet . . . attack! or whatever). And the voice actors give it credibility.

Is Cougar the alter-user who's obsessed with speed and creating super-fast cars? If so, I love Cougar too. He's hilarious! Is Crispen Freeman the VA?

This show reminds me of Inu-Yasha in that it's just a nice show to watch for entertainment's sake and I don't get emotionally wrapped up in it like I have for other shows like Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Last Exile, Trigun, (and the latest one to really grab me: RahXephon) etc.

I saw this show for the first time on AS a couple of nights ago and I like it quite a bit so far. It reminded me of DBZ also except that I like it way better.

I just saw the episode Mimori Kiryu and I loved it! Oooh! I smell a love triangle in the making...

What did y'all think of it?
thebravest1 06-26-2005 05:47 PM
I think its a good episode and yes I can smell a love triange brueing
