I know what Big O is all about. Thanks goes to Dominus Excelsior for the little girl secerio. It is a story of Angel, a little girl who creates Paradigm City as a fantasy. However, it serves as a paradigm for the world today.

There are times when we feel as helpless as a little girl. And it is at these times that we wish we could live in a world that we control as a God, a world that has forgotten all the bad things that have happen. It is in this world that we feel empowered.

Our memories gives us a sense of purpose but that does not me they should govern the way we live. How we are born does not control how we are to live.

Those whom are controlled are destined to live their lives at a script. Then there are those who have made their own choices, like walking in the rain without an umbrella. They have taken control of their own lives.

Howerver, we do not live in such a world. There are people in the world who live in such turmoil going about their lives as if there where scripted. We are comforted in the believe that high above us looking upon the folly of human blunders are the ever expecting presence of Gods. We do not need to wait for someone or Gods to change ourselves or this world. We have the power to change, to take control of our own lives for the better. We have choices that is what it means to be free.

To put it another way, there are people who complain how bad life is and how bad the world is. You cannot control other people, but you can control your own destiny. Control that which you can control and don't worry about that which you cannot. S**t happens, you can't control it. Deal with it, and move on. Don't dwell on the past, but learn from your mistakes. You're life may not be as luxurious as other, but you do have choices, that is what is means to be free. You can also do your best to make the lives of those around you better. Appreciate what IS good in your life and work at making yourself better. If everyone in the world did this, this world would be a better place. We do not need to wait for God to make it better.
