Darth Sidious/Palpatine/The Emperor, Count Dooku (he's just that bad***), and [Darth] Vader. Vader has the voice, Sidious is just so incredible, and Dooku is just bad***. There's no other way to sum that up.

Grievous sucks.
| spoiler (highlight to read): |
| He had four freaking arms, lightsaber in each and he still got owned by Ben half way thru the movie. |
The Emperor was just a plain old meany. Most of the time he only electricuted the crap out of people or sent his brainwashed clone army to do the killing. I think somebody was cranky and needs some time alone in the corner.
Jabba the Hutt didn't do anything. He just sat on his.....uhm.....a$$? and got everybody else to dance around him and get fed to that thing down yonder.
The first Fett was a lot better then Boba. Boba didn't even really fight anyone.
And I don't know who this Dark Vader guy is (bad joke!) but I'll have to agree with the majority. Darth Vader was meant to be the greatest villian......and he is. I had a nightmare last month about him. It scured me. :'( But it was so awesome!

Though they didn't do much and eventually ended up getting owned, Darth Maul and Count Dooku (Darth Tyrannus) were both pretty awesome.
Jango and Boba Fett were cool too.
But Vader is definitely my favorite villain.
(I voted for all 5 anyway)

Plus they are all Sith.
...who speak.
(Yes, I'm talking to you, Maul.)
Though I have to say, I think Grievous is
incredibly overrated. I really didn't find him all that incredible, and I thought the role he was given in Episode III was more than adequate considering his condition.
I think my respect for Vader has dipped a
little bit with Anakin's performance in the new trilogy. He's still a badass, though.
But Palpatine has always been my favorite. I love how his Force Lightning always comes when the victim is least expecting it...makes it all the more awesome.

Darth Vader: Mostly for sentimental reasons plus he's got the best voice in the galaxy!

Am i the only one who voted for Jabba the Hutt?
he is the one i can most identify with:
-spends most of day sitting on @$$
-desires power
-but doesn't really want to get up to achieve it
c'mon, all you Hutts (?), represent!

I think its a tie for my favorite villain, between Grievious and Boba Fett. Grievious is just plain awesome in my opinion. I mean he has 4 lightsabers at once, and has killed enough Jedi to have a belt of them. Fett was just so mysterious that he had to be cool. He was my favorite part of the original trilogy even though he was relatively minor.
Second favorite goes to Darth Vader (original trilogy only). His voice was awesome and he just seemed so evil. Plus, he was nigh invulnerable up until the last film, and just appeared to be some monstrous unstoppable force.
Third place goes to Grand Admiral Thrawn. He isn't in the movies, but he is definatly an awesome bad guy. I don't know why I like him, but he is blue, and that is original.
