The new controller is absolutely terrible.

Pretty much what I expected.

PS2 : PS1
PS3 : PS2

At least we got backwards compatability and wireless controllers.

I mean its about freaking time we got rid of wires.

From the front it looks like a minifridge. Even though it's nowhere near thick enough.

And the controller looks like this crappy-ass PC gamepad I used to have.

But hopefully it won't be glitch and overheat-ridden like PS2.

Edit: And who did GOOD, radio wireless controllers first? Nintendo. And for that matter, the + Thing, rumble, and joysticks.

It looks like a laminator. I'm really disappointed so far... and the controller. The controller! They should have kept the DualShock. All I have to say is WTF^^. Well, never judge a book by its cover, I guess.

Does the controller not look a bit "gamecubey" to anyone?

Hey, they used Spider-man (movie) font for the logo!

Ooooh, how futuristic. Nice way to copy the Gamecube controller. Imitation is the highest form of flattery though, right?

yeah as big an xbox fan as i am, this system is gonna COMPLETELY OWN the 360, the graphics are so unfreakin' believeable, and i just looks like it s gonna be way better

this is great though in a way. xbox will bow before its competitor! mwa ha ha ha!

this means i have to get the last of my games i want. mario party 6, kirby air ride, pokemon colloseum, and sonic heros! plus any others i forgot to mention.

Has anyone noticed that all three systems (PS3, X-Box 360, and Revolution) can stand vertically now. It seems the idea of a vertical stand is becoming contagious.

That controller...the handles...looks like some kind of MadCatz 3rd party controller or something. The fact that it's backwards compatible is cool. The system itself looks very futuristic, I don't think it would really fit in with my room

I have to admit that as a PC gamer, seeing QUAKE 4 on the top banner was a bit more exciting.

I guess to a few people it seems like a pretty cool design, but I'm not feeling the PS3 Grill.

It seems vaguely similar, but enough to constitute a rip-off? Hardly. Especially since PS3 can stand vertically as well. But too bad all of the older systems look like that...

it's like the took the old one and stretch it out. i guess they were running out of ideas? But hey! this could mean that old school is coming back! yeah! *does a little jig*

But still, I'm getting it. Games will be expensive for the next gen systems! $70 bucks a game is reported by EGM...
