Interpol

in my opinion, interpol is the single greatest band i've ever heard.

there's such a dynamic complexity to their sound. it's almost unreal they way they can create songs that make me feel so emotional that i find myself with tears in my eyes (not just because of their lyrics, but because the melodies are so beautiful).

i'm determined to meet these guys one day, get annihilated with them, and talk for hours. they've really influenced me as an artist, and i have a lot to thank them for.

so, if you're in the mood for a life changing experience, go pick up one of their albums or listen to a few songs on their website:

I've heard quite a few of their songs.

Although I can't say they're the single greatest band, they rae pretty interesting.

The vocals are pretty unique.

Interpole is awesome. I have both of their albums, and I'm going to see them at Music Midtown in about a month.

my sister's friend saw the lead singer of Interpol THREE TIMES in the Village, and she didn't even get an autograph. my sister got peeved "NEXT TIME, ASK!!".

I bought Antics today for two reasons:

a) Everyone says it's amazing, and I wanted to see what all the hype was about

b) They gave the New Pornographers and A.C. Newman (of the New Pornographers) record contracts, and since they're one of the greatest bands out there right now, Matador has to kick ass.

It's very interesting. Not the best thing I've ever heard in my life, but it's really good.

I saw them a few hours ago. It seemed like it took them a while to get into a groove, but overall it was a good show. It would have been alot better if I had been able to breathe, but that's just because it's Atlanta in June, and it was insanely humid in that crowd. White Stripes were also incredible, but I had to leave the crowd towards the end because I felt like I was going to pass out.

i saw them saturday night with my girlfriend, and i must say it was amazing.

they played both "take you on a cruise" and "a time to be so small" (both of my favorites off of antics), which they never play live.

my love for them is re-kindled and i can't stop listening to them.

Pleased
