I've been trying to find places that still have legitimate copies of Big-O DVDs for the lowest price I can find. Amazon.com seems to be out of season 1 and the ones they have are bootlegs. I found this place selling both season 1 and 2 for really low prices. The problem is that I've never heard of these guys before and I'm not sure that they are trustworthy. They seem to have actual copies that aren't bootlegs.
here's the link:

I haven't heard of this site before so I'm wondering if it's trustworthy. Some of my friends say it is but they aren't really anime fans.
Also, if there are any other sites that have actual DVDs that aren't bootlegs then post them here.
I think there was already a thread about this but I couldn't find it. If there is then you can lock this thread or add it to the other thread.
(I know, people selling bootlegs through amazon.com is shocking, but it's true! We can't even trust amazon.com anymore. It's really sad.)

For Ford Sakes!
Go to Overstock.com! Each season boxed set is under $30. Free shipping, too. That's where I got it for myself, my cousin, my sister, and my friend. Very fast shipping, too.
PLEASE LET THIS END ALL "OMG CHEAP BIG O DVD" THREADS.

I'm actually trying to find a more secure source of DVDs that we can point new fans to later on. I've checked their site but it says they are almost out of Big-O DVDs. I'm trying to look for a site that has a decent supply of DVDs that won't run out any time soon.
Thanks though, I might get the DVDs from that site. Although I've already stated that I already have all the DVDs, I'm starting to become suspicious of wether my DVDs are actual copies or just really convincing bootlegs. If my DVDs do turn out to be fakes, then I'll buy some real ones from that site.

As soon as they run out, they get it back in inventory in about 12 hours (that's what happened to me). And it's not a bootleg. This is like Amazon, only not as well known.
If you want them cheap, and want the real thing, the go to overstock. If you want to be raped with more expensive bootlegs, go to Anime-exclusive online stores.
I ordered mine when it was out of stock, and it came four days later. How does that not kick ass?

anyway. thanks for the link paul. because we shouldn't all rely on one site for everything. "be prepared for the worst" they say. and i don't mind dishing out an extra $5 if it's in any way better. can someone check it out?

The DVDs appear to be Region 1 Bandai DVDs, meaning that they are most likely not bootlegs. I can't be 100% sure since I haven't ordered from them, but it looks legitimate to me.

One of my personal favorites is
DeepDiscountDVD. They have low prices, free shipping, and never sell bootlegs. For Big O, though, it seems that they only have the season 2 DVDs in stock.

I was planning on buying from the sets from there, but on the first season box set it says that there 2 discs but there's really 4... I know it's probably a misprint, but what is it with all the authentic looking ones having the wrong number of discs listed?
They're legit alright. They're actually overpriced. Well, by Best Buy standards
What you have to watch out for is people trying to sell the whole series for 35 or less. You most certainly got a bootleg then. But these are the season one and two sets for $38 round about each.

I can also vouch for Overstock. I bought Season 1 there a few weeks ago. At that point it also said that it was close to running out of stock, and it says the same thing now, so......? I would also try Best Buy. I bought Season 2 in store for $34. You can also get Season 2 on their website for the same, except you have to pay for shipping. Season 1, however, is $45.
