Regarding the first clips, it does appear that the Big O is some sort of Truman Show-type setup. The question is: Is this something incorporated in the story--such as, say, the foreigners sort of set up Paradigm as some twisted zoo, or is it a statement on the part of the writer of the show? I'm still working out my own theory.

I thought so also but THEN I saw Act 26 and I could not figure out how the 2 fit together. I mean, is it like a "Digital Truman Show" where they make the inhabitants live inside a dome but in reality they are living inside a computer program inside a dome? I hope he is lying, or is mistaken at least. Not that I don't want to know just what the hell is going on exactly. But if some questions still remain then that means that we could get Big O season 3! So I'm willing to take the suffering of not knowing all of the answers if it means that we get another 26 episodes of Big O. I'm sure that you're all with me! Right? Right? *looks around an empty room, there aren't even chirpping crickets... *

Seriously though, more Big O can only be a good thing.

But, too much of a good thing could make it stale and boring...

(Classic Example: See Dragonball)

I mean, if there are still unresolved issues, I could see maybe another 13...but another 26? That's a little too much, I think.

Actually that doesn't work. You see, for a good thing to go bad then it has to have been good in the first place. Dragon Ball's fights were alright but it got really stupid because its plot sucked so much. Big O has a good plot, plus it can always logically keep flowing as long as not too much is explained. I'd love to see more Big O. I know that it would have to end eventually...but I would like to see more episodes before its all over.

Yeah, I think maybe an OVA, or a movie would be good to tie up loose ends. After all, most newer anime is all created at once, and meant to end within 26 or so episodes.
