ok, any what if question on the Big O. shoot. (i looked for one on the search options, didnt find any.)
my what if: What if Big Duo had won the fight fight between the Bigs in Season 1??? i mean, Schwarzvald was planning to destroy the dome-dwelling upper class Paradigm Lapdogs, or whatnot. but i would think that Alex Rosewater had a backup plan, seeing how he was smiling or smirking or w/e when Big Duo's tremors (from flying) broke his window. I would think he'd freak out, since Schwarzvald rejected his check and i would think of a plan B to take out Big Duo or pay with my life if i didn't.

I think Alex was just relying on Big O to save paradigm. He didn't have any sort of robot until Big Fau

relaly? i thought he just wanted the people to know the truth about the event and all, and was willing to murder the bourgeous (ugh, spling) and the rich dome dwellers before doing so.

I don't think Schwarzwald's target wasn't the dome-dwellers but rather the domes themselves. Of course, the domes are full of people, and Schwarzwald won't let them get in the way of his goal.
Of course Alex Rosewater was smirking. Always being cool and collected is part of his persona. But I've noticed the huge gamble of his move as well: if Big O had failed to show up or had lost, Alex, quite frankly, would have been f***ed.
Of course, if Ol' Crispy had been thinking straight, he would have fired Big Duo's Megaton Missiles straight into the base of Paradigm HQ, which would have destroyed Paradigm Corp., probably caused most of Central Dome to collaspe, and would have had a good chance of taking out Big O as well. It's not like he needed to fight Big O, as Big O proved unable to stop Big Duo (at least until Schwarzwald made the mistake of landing).
Of course, he did the sensible thing all the time, he wouldn't be the Schwarwald we know and love.

after he destroys the domes, what happens? on sidenote, the collateral must be really bad.

I have no idea. All that Schwarzwald tells is that he wants to destory the "false skies" that are the domes. Supposedly, this will prevent people from burying their heads in the sand and notice the world they live in. But you have to keep in mind that Schwarzwald isn't exactly sane anymore, so he isn't acting entirely rationally.

What if Rosewater never went nuts? Would have the world been "reset"?

woa, same avatar! ooohhhhh...
anyhoo, well alex did go nuts. he was a control freak who tried to make himself the god of paradigm, and killing all those who stood in his way. and only big venus and angel could've done that..

That's bugs you too, eh?

I've grown attached to mine, though....
Well, if Alex hadn't gone crazy, there's not telling what would've happened, because the majority of season 2 revolves around his plot...

If Alex hadn't gone crazy, nothing would have been as interesting, of course! Surprised something more didn't happen... I was expecting more... something...

what if the ending of season 2 was different like instead of the words "We Have Come To Terms" it would have been "To Be Continued" We would have season 3 by now.

that is SO true. i think that is the #1 argument that there is against a Season 3. if it was a series finale, it would say "we have come to terms" indicating closure, they also showed the part in Act 1, indicating a loop or something similar too it, making a whole plethora of episodes based on teh first one would be almost a waste of time compared to making it a progressive season. In season 1, there was every reason to air another season, the obvious cliffhanger ending, they already made one, the "to be continued", and the money. but season 3.... i want it, but i doub it.
