Against All Odds

Before seeing this movie, I had only heard Phil Collins hit song from it called "Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)" and I even have the soundtrack to this movie on vinyl. Anyway, I saw the movie was on Showtime ONDEMAND, so I thought I'd check it out. Jeff Bridges plays Terry, who gets kicked off his football team, then a friend of his (played by James Woods) asks him to look for Jessie (Rachel Ward), who is a girl that ran away from him. When Terry finally does find Jessie, The two end up falling in love with each other, and then one thing leads to another, and well, all I'll say is that this movie is an interesting dark romantic thriller. After seeing the movie I decided to listen to the soundtrack from start to finish the next day or the day after, and I liked it alot. In addition to Phil's song, I also like Mike Rutherford's "Making A Big Mistake" and Michael Colombier and Larry Carlton's "The Search (Main Title Theme From Against All Odds). I'm thinking about getting the DVD of this film.
