What type of Animals would our Big O characters be?

I was watching part of The Cat Returns LAst Night and it hit me wouldn't it be funny to draw some of our Big O characters as Cats? So I did that.




But then I thought what other animals they might look cool as. So post what you think.

I too believe they would be cats. Then again, they could be birds too (maybe chickens).

Kudos to your cats drawing. It's purfect.

Though not necessarily great, the Big O Characters as Horses would be pretty cool to see, since Horses can express dozens of emotions with little effort at all

I can see Roger with this huge forehead with his Ape hair errupting from his jacket and pants, being hauled away by the Ape Military Police.
"Get off me you damn dirty apes!"

How about Bunnies?

I would love to see Roger go to the planet of the apes, with ape Dorothy, Angel, Alex, Alan, Schwarzwald, and everyone else but him. A Ape Big O! or is it Big Ooh-Ooh that bangs its chest for the chrome buster?

I think it would be good if they were all a different animal... i just cant decide who would be what animal.

Actually, I would along the lines of what Bllue said: I kind of imagined they would be individual animals, whichever went best with their personalities.

If not, then cats I think. I kinda think cats are best drawn when it comes to emotions and anything of the sort.

I think they'll all be different animals, based on their personality:

Roger: Dog (Black Lab)
Dorothy: Cat (black?)
Norman: Dog (older black lab)
Angel: Bird (no idea maybe falcon?)
Dastun: Dog (Doberman, definitely)
Schwarzvald: Cat (curiosity killed him)

please feel free to add on to this list, dont really know since i havent finished the series...

Roger: Peacock.
Dorothy: Mechanical nightengale.
Gordon: Barn owl.
Angel: Bird of Paradise.
Schwarzwald: Phoenix.
Alex: Cuckoo.
Beck: Rooster.
Norman: Penguin.
Vera: Parrot. "Burn ze city, burn ze city, Rawwk!"

What about fish?

i have no idea about fish, but Beck is the Goldfish.

Schwarzvald is the weird bandaged mummy fish. haha jk.

Hmm, interesting topic. Well, funny, I've been writing a fic with one of my friends (I seriously doubt it will see the light of day) where Roger gets turned into a llama and Beck gets turned into a panther. X) I drew Beck as a panther, and am working on Roger...maybe I could scan them in sometime. >.< Moral of this post: Never have sugar, watch The Emporer's New Groove than watch the first 5 episodes of Big O in a row. @_@ It causes craaaaazy ideas.

But if I were to name individual animals for each character, than:

Roger: Black Cat
Dorothy: Gray Cat (like Perro )
Norman: Black Lab
Angel: Peacock
Beck: Swan (Dude, those things are arrogaunt AND vicious! They shouldn't symbolize beauty at all, I swear! I've been chased by one before, and it is NOT fun! T_T)

I understand what you mean, ever try to feed one? Those teeth are very sharp, and they obviously have a taste for 8 yr olds

T_T Awww, wow that sucks. My friend sorta threw something at it and it got ticked at me...but at least I wasn't 8 years old! Dude that sucks!

I can see them as dogs but then again I am a dog person so it makes sense.

I'd say a mix of animals.
