HOUSE OF WAX star Paris Hilton is the latest celebrity to become a full sized waxwork at the Madame Tussaud's museum chain. Her figure will be unveiled at The New York branch of the museum, at a ceremony to be attended by the cast of HOUSE OF WAX before the release of the movie on May 6.

Though Paris is elated at the prospect of having the waxwork displayed at the world famous venue, she regrets the fact that due to her forgetfulness, her pet pooch Tinkerbell will not be cast aside her.

"I didn't bring Tinkerbell to the thing where they take pictures of you. They wanted to make her too, but I forgot to take her," explains Hilton.

Though Hilton has not yet seen her wax figure, she nevertheless seems to be extremely happy with the honor.

"I think it's pretty cool," she added.

OMG! Exculsive photo leek of the figure!

The Paris Hilton Figure

Look at is majesty! Sculpted to perfection! Its almost like the real one!

If you go the official French website: http://wwws.warnerbros.fr/houseofwax/ and click on the link on that page that says/looks like this...

...you can view an EXTREMELY intense and graphic trailer for the movie! I can't believe they showed some of the things they did! This trailer is 100x more intense than the American/English one!

spoiler (highlight to read):
One of the most graphic parts is when they show Paris Hilton getting stabbed straight up through the back of her foot.

OPENING DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!

MAY 6th 2005!

OPENING DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!
———————————————————————————

I thought I'd post this now since I won't get a chance to post again until after I've seen HOUSE OF WAX tomorrow! ^_^

I've organized a big group of friends from school (so far 10+ people are definitely coming) to go and see it tomorrow at around 2:00PM! It's gonna be hot!

Everyone go see it! It's going to be so creepy, scary, exciting, fun, and overall the perfect movie to see with a bunch of friends to kick off the summer! ^_^

I can't wait!

I just got back from seeing HOUSE OF WAX! Everyone who was with me from school agreed that it was a really really good horror movie!

It was SO much more scary / creepy / intense / disturbing than I honestly thought it was going to be. All my friends and I were literally on the edge of our seats, all holding onto each other and screaming and stuff. It was so much fun!

I wanna go see it like at least one more time before the weekend ends! ^_^

Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, Jared Padalecki, and Brian Van Holt were all REALLY good in this movie!

Paris really shined when it came to her chase/death scene or being scared in general--she was VERY convincing at being utterly terrified! Some of the things she said though it was like...you couldn't picture her as anything other than Paris Hilton, but like I said when it came to screaming and running from the killer and stuff she was very convincing!

Robert Ri'chard was also pretty good, but Jon Abrahams was kind of weird. I couldn't tell if he was supposed to be drunk, high, or just plain stupid.

The grand finale / climax was also incredible! I really enjoyed it!

Can't wait to see it again!

Today I went to see HOUSE OF WAX again! This time with one of my friends who also went to see it yesterday with me, and my Mom! ^_^

My friend and I enjoyed it just as much the second time, and my Mom loved it! She thought it was really scary and that the acting from all the characters was really well done! She also commented on how she thought the sets and locations were amazing! ^_^

I saw a thing about it on Fuse today. Some parts looked pretty cool. So, uh, how does Paris die? *devilish grin*

Detailed description of Paris' death scene (graphic nature):

spoiler (highlight to read):
Paris and her boyfriend, Blake, are alone at the campsite inside one of the tents. Blake leaves the tent to find out why the music stopped that they had playing on a stereo outside. Paris is pissed off that Blake keeps interrupting her every time she tries to tell him the fact that she thinks she's pregnant, and the fact that he seems to be more concerned about the music than her, so she gets into the sleeping bag, turns off the lantern, and goes to sleep.

Blake seems to be taking a long time, and in the darkness of the tent we see the shadow of someone slowly entering the tent and moving towards Paris. Paris wakes up and tries to confirm that it's her boyfriend, but after no answer she turns on the lantern, only to find that it is the killer. Horrified, she screams, and struggles to get away. She runs out of the tent and trips over something. It turns out to be her dead boyfriend who has a large knife in the back of his head, but is still alive and twitching.

Paris continues to run away, and before he follows her, the killer kicks the knife deeper into the boyfriend's neck, killing him. Paris runs briefly through the woods, and finds herself at a large warehouse/abandoned sugar mill. She hurries inside. It's very dark, but she finds her way to a small metal staircase leading up to a platform of sorts. Instead of going up the stairs, she hurries behind them to a secluded area where she hides behind some boxes. All of a sudden, all the lights in the factory turn on. Across from her, in another big box, Paris notices that there are tons of old cell phones (clearly where the killer discards the cell phones of all his victims from over the years). She tries some of them, but none of them work.

She gets up and goes back to the metal stairs she passed earlier. She rips off part of the staircase railing, which is a big metal pole with a rusted, pointy tip. She hurries up the stairs to the platform, which is like a metal grating (lots of little holes). After walking a few feet, a knife thrusts upwards and stabs up through the back of one of Paris' feet and straight into her Achilles tendon. Paris screams in agony and collapses. The killer repeatedly thrusts the knife up through various holes in the metal grating. Paris crawls backwards quickly, making sure to take the pole with her.

She hurries down another flight of stairs that leads into an area of the warehouse that is filled with old cars (again, like the cell phones, this is an area where the killer stores the cars of his victims). Paris weaves around a few cars and eventually gets inside one of the cars. She crawls into the backseat, lying on her back, and positions the sharp-edged metal pole over one of her shoulders, aimed towards the car door.

The killer slowly walks near the car, and eventually passes it. Paris thinks he's gone, but he quickly opens the car door, and tries to drag her out by her feet. Paris screams and thrusts the large, sharp-edged metal pole towards the killer, which cuts the side of his face (actually the side of his wax mask that he wears). Paris hurries out the opposite side of the car, and runs away, still limping.

She hides behind the side of another car, and gets very low to the ground to peek under the car to look for the killer's feet. She can't see his feet anywhere, so she gets on her knees and slowly peeks up through the driver's side window. The killer is right there on the other side of the car, and he has the metal pole in his hand. In a split second he hurls the pole through the passenger side window. The pole smashes through both sets of windows and lodges into Paris' forehead. The force pushes her body back a bit, and then she slumps forward. The pole keeps her body up, like she's resting her head on it, only it sticks out the back of her head.

Blood oozes out the wound on the back of her head and drips down the pole into puddles on the floor. The killer has a video camera that belonged to another character. He begins filming Paris' body, zooming in on her wounds, and the blood pouring out. He then grabs hold of the pole, and begins twisting it, getting it free from her skull, and then pulls it out through the back of her head. He rips it free of her head and she slumps to the ground.

At Almasy's highly favorable recommendation, I went to see House of Wax this evening. Big Grin

The film was, indeed, far more intense than the trailers insinuate. People were screaming and cowering everywhere in the theater throughout.

The entire cast fit their roles and played their parts flawlessly; the victim characters were very well developed, and thus their gruesome deaths were quite depressing. It was certainly violent and quite a bloodbath, but none of which was tossed superfluously.

The finale really blew me away and had me on edge, again with more and more people screaming and cheering on Elisha Cuthbert and Chad Michael Murray.

I highly recommend House of Wax, do not miss. Thumbs Up

Aw that's no fun! You should definitely go see it! It was hot! And when it gets to the scary parts just cover your ears with your hands, that's what I do and then you don't get scared by the loud noises! ^_^

House of Wax is now available on DVD! ^_^

I picked up my copy today, and for those who didn't see it in theaters I would definitely recommend renting it!

The DVD has some pretty cool special features, including a gag / blooper reel, two behind-the-scenes featurettes regarding the design of the movie and the visual effects, a video cast commentary, and a few other things.
