My only suggestion is making the stockings slightly more sheer, since they kinda blend in with her suit. But - otherwise - SHE'S PERFECT!

I agree with Sixfortyfive's title of 'Reciprocal Paradigm'. Anyone else think it's okay? Or is there something else we haven't thought of?

I doodled out the parallel opening and ending credits after my humanities test today, so I'll be posting them with the stories.

I got act 2 underway at last. I'm taking liberties with the beginning because I don't remember how it starts, but it'll smooth out as the story progresses.

I ran into a snag in writing act 2. How did Roger end up at the Nightingale when Dorothy and Wayneright showed up? Did he figure out she was connected to Wayneright before then? How so? I really do not remember the second episode!

*starts gripping hair in frustration*

Actually, David has a good idea there: illos b/w and one pic for each episode in color, like a cover pic. That way you won't be driven crazy with coloring everything you draw.

(As a side note, I finished 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' last night. Editing begins soon.)

I decided I'm going to include the opening and ending credits in the text, but I'm going to change the songs on the ending credits (CR just PM'ed me the lyrics to a really good Depeche Mode song). Artists, this would be an extra credit in creating opening/ending pics. Just an idea, we'll drop it if no one wants the credits.

And what will be Norma's hobby? i remember in one epidsode Norman took the day off and wanted to go fishing

The snowglobe was suggested to me by someone here - God, I forgot who! Was it Sixfortyfive? - for Roxanne's fetish. Roger has his hourglasses, Roxanne has her snowglobes - a symbol of the relative quietness of Paradigm City, punctuated by people 'shaking things up' (like picking up a snowglobe and shaking it around).

I've seen hundreds of different snowglobes - one of them was almost three feet across (it had a crank to turn the globe around for the glitter to move) which is what I based the one Dorian and Roxanne sit on - and their designs can be quite beautiful. I figure they would be Paradigm City (NY), various figures, angels, and mythological beings (signifigance lost). Considering Pero had knocked the hourglasses off Roger's desk, Pera will be knocking Roxanne's snowglobes off her desk - not only glass, but liquid stuff!

The snow and glitter will be whirling around inside during the song. I don't know if it did in season 1, but I know it does in season 2. Can anyone confirm season 1 hourglass sand falling?

Mm ... okay, maybe the opening/ending idea was silly.

Lady Tesser, I can't wait to read it, along with the Mr. & Mrs. Smith, of course. I printed The Blossoming Rose out and put it in a binder with a picture of Dorothy on it. That way I can read it over and over! JinguJ should hopefully do some picures for those stories too.

You'll have to ask Jingu or maybe even Rouge for illos to any of my work. I always wanted illos, but I didn't want to ask lest I sound too egocentric (but I am).

Act two is coming steadily along, although I am missing massive amounts of anime plot. The manga follows the general direction, but some things are different. Right now I'm at the point of Beth kidnapping Dorian again at the Nightingale. Need to find a segue into the resurrected Dorian I attacking the mint again ...

Woo-hoo! Friday Night Eighties on Mix 105.1 is playing 'Centerfold' by J. Giles Band! *dances in chair and goes back to fanfic writing* The only way to spend Friday night - 80's pop and writing!

I had to laugh. I grew up in the 80's and I remember that song well. After I read the Blossoming Rose and listened to some Pat Benatar, I got inspired to write one as well. I still have alot of editing, but I never wrote one so I'm kind of afraid to post it...Maybe after I finish editing and all, I'll get up the courage to do it. It's funny how when you are really into music you can find so many songs that fit anime characters perfectly...

Well this idea is really taking off I can't wait to read it.

I think I'm going to wait until Jingu has all the pictures that she wants drawn out, and I'll set it up with text and pictures laid out on images that represent pages of the story.

Just kidding, really. Act 2 hit another snag, but I mentioned it already somewhere or to someone (reality blurrs). I need to start writing it again instead of finding excuses to work on my Roger+Dorothy fics.

Well, maybe act 2 can wait until act 1 is completely up, it'll give time for Jingu to finish. (You don't have to animate the new series, honey.)

Then it's back to work to editing 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' and kicking around ideas for 'Past of Tomorrow'.

CR's been working on some great ideas for one-shots, by the way. I really encourage the writing of one-shots to flesh the universe out.

Hmm ... you know, Sixfortyfive, you mentioning about laying it out as a story ... I know it's a bit late, but an interesting layout would be like a report that Roxanne would have typed up with pics attached like in crime scene reports. Maybe one of the one-shots or something can be done that way.

If you ever run into a snag with the current act, just go ahead and jot down some scenes for the big finale that we've talked about. I've got an idea for the title of the second to last act.

I'm also not exactly sure what you guys mean by a report, but I'll do one page of the story when Jingu has the pics ready and you guys can tell me what you think about it.
