and as for your question:

I use UMAX Astra 3400 (I was a cheap bastard) and as for the pen, I usually use Sailor b-1 color drawing pen.

For sketches, I use a mechanical pencil (it was a cheap one) but I use 2B pencil lead (it was pentel)

then I scan the sketches right away... you should play with the brightness/contrast muchly to get a good lined/clean sketches.

I tried an artist pen long time ago, and it's VERY good once you get used to it. But it's HELLA expensive here so I try to not use it, Drawing Pens will do for me. I am more experienced in inking with a small brush than an artist pen though. Use indian ink, it's very good although it dries a bit too quickly.

You know what sucks? I have drawn a scene ... of Dorian and Beth when he was being held as a captive but.. it lost.

Now I have to draw it again.

By the way, what do you all prefer: colored or b/w?

And please gimme your input... how BIG the pictures that you want? I mean, it can be 350x480 or smaller or bigger... up to you.

And how many pictures that you want per chapter?

I usually sketch out the concept first, do you want me to show it all first? It's random episodes though ^^; and they are rough sketches..

Ever since it was decided that Dorian will be playing guitar, I haven't been able to get the thought of him and Instra starting a band or something out of my head. Think it's possible?

Redd - I haven't seen the Missing Cat episode yet. I'm still trying to figure out if the cat's name was Pero or Perot - pronounciation is vital. However, just for fun, let's make Pero a girl. I like the idea of the pink bow - Dorian can make her one and comment about how more feminine the cat looks than Roxanne.

Rouge - you draw great. Stop saying it's crap. Crap is my drawing, if I EVER get around to scanning the smeggers you'll see why. ^_^

Jingu ... color or b/w: why don't you give us a sample - like have one scene done b/w and the same scene only in color and maybe a vote? I'd like to see both and see which type would be better for the story's atmosphere.

As for picture size, I really can't tell. I have a very small screen and it annoys me when I have to scroll all over the place to see a whole picture., but that's my hang-up.

And as a writer, I have darn little control over the artist, so it's up to your discretion over what scenes you want to draw and how many. I don't have a set limit on my stories, I leave it up to the artist. (The only way you could upset me is if you draw it as porn, and I think you have more taste than that - I've seen your artwork.)

Dorian in a band, Sixfortyfive? *thinks about it, giggles* It's tempting, isn't it? Instra might be part of a blues house band and she calls him up on occassion to cover for one of the other band members. Keeps Dorian harmlessly occupied while Roxanne works. And I can see Roxanne being into blues, so that's why she and Instra are good friends.

I have to type up an essay tonight, but I'll start on act 2 sometime this evening. I don't know when I'll be done since I have a humanities test on Thursday and two sections of math work to do, plus I need to finish up a story for a contest. (Oy.)

The Katakana lists it as "Pero" and is pronounced in both as "peh-roh." I think the English spelling is "Perot," but I'm not sure.

EDIT: I'm trying to remember... Was the cat's original name "Roy" or something else?

And you haven't seen that episode? Damn shame. Eugine Grant is my favorite of the one-shot villains. He's TWISTED!

And what was the significance of Soldano.Did he build Dorothy 1 and Dorothy, what was the relationship with Timothy Waynerright?

I think the deal between Soldano and Wayneright was that Soldano would fund the construction of R Dorothy if Wayneright would supply the necessary designs for a Megadeus of his own (Dorothy I).

I don't remember the name of the family, but the kid Roy was taken in by Eugine Grant to be part of his sick little genetic science experiments and was turned into a cat named Perot. (Cats and dogs are rare in Paradigm and are considered highly valuable.) Somehow he escaped and was found by Dorothy, who could apparently tell that something was up with him. Roy's parents show up at Roger's mansion to recover him, but Eugine tracks them down, kills them, and takes back Perot, changing him into that huge beast at the end of the episode.

I didn't get missing cat that much, was he originally a boy or something? or they just called Pero their son just because?

Lol yeah I fell asleep somewhat during the episode and in Winter Night Phantom.

I haven't been able to draw because I have work and my school hates me, but I will have vacation next week so maybe I will get to draw more by then ^__^.

Eugene was a wacko scientist who used the people (I forgot their names) son, Roy, as raw material to make the kitten, Pero. He was a damn cute kitten though. I wonder how old Roy (the human) was.

I was also thinking of making Pera's collar pink with little rhinestones on it and the bell. (In Missing Cat, Pero had a green collar with a little bell hanging off of it.) I have the pic started!

I just thought of something incredibly cool for the main story of this... but it requires knowledge of how the second season ends.

I should probably wait until I've seen the end in English, but I think this could work. How much do you know of the second season, Tess?

Nada, I'm afraid. Although I'm a spoiler reader, and if the spoilers are any indication, I think the whole story's going to fall flat on it's ass. I'm going to wait and see.

If you want to know how it ends before then, PM Megadeus, he's the one who's seen the Japanese version it seems (considering the spoiler clips he posts, which I haven't seen because I keep getting pages of code instead of pics).

Can you PM me your idea? I'd like to read what is and see if we can just break off from the Truman Show-like ending that the spoilers seem to indicate. Besides, keeping it quiet until we post it makes it fun. ^_^

Tesser: I get that too. What I do is copy link location, then post the URL into Windows Media Player. That makes it work.

I'm thinking about getting started with a webpage for this stuff this afternoon. Anybody opposed to using the title "Reciprocal Paradigm?" Should we have a formal vote or something?

Also, Tess and I have some pretty good ideas on how the story will eventually be wrapped up. But we gotta get there first.

It was a quicky I done for the first scene.. it will contain two panel consits of Beth and Dorian in each panel.


But I know this one is bad... any thoughts?
