Yeah, that's pretty lame unless the girl has a sense of humor. (Married 3 years this month - dating is a bad nightmare I don't have to deal with anymore). And the idea of a good-looking guy getting away with such stuff - that's why I suggested the tablescraps ... old Muppet Show episode had a French actor guest starring and seducing Miss Piggy by talking in French which translated into 'Please change my car oil.' and 'I want to order a donut and a coffee, please'. ^_^

That's a pretty good suggestion, though. Angel murmurs that to Roxanne, and it drives her crazy she can't figure out what it means until she gets ahold of something to translate it - right in front of Dorian. Roxanne blushes to death and mutters about kicking Angel's ass, while Dorian quietly wonders how to tear Angel's vocal cords out. Norma, overhearing, snickers to herself in the kitchen.

First season is pretty well established, little can be done to alter the storyline considerably. There's little chance our version of season 1 will be finished before the real season 2 is over. We just have to be careful with the 'romantic' parts to make sure it doesn't jump the gun (so to speak) concerning Angel or Dorian. (Although the concept of Alexia lording over Angel appeals to me - nothing overt, just smirking and dry jokes, which Angel dutifully ignores.)

Also, I don't know if the question's been posed yet, but what exactly are we gonna name this creation? Any thoughts?

I was waiting for someone to come up with something brilliant for a subtitle. Of course, keep Big O, but since this isn't the normal Big O, we have to have a subtitle.

About the romantic thing, like I said not necesarily following the season but we would really have to do it carefully. Of course I am all for Roxanne x Dorian (male Angel is to hot to be tied down ).

EDIT: Yep you should start Act 2, but do take your time don't rush. About Act 1 Illustrations, can just anyone do it? or do you have someone in charge of it?

Agreed - Angel flies solo. (Ignore pun.) (And I'm all for Dorian and Roxanne, too, but I have to remain neutral while I write. Pooh.)

I don't have anyone in mind to do illos for act 1, so if anyone wants to do it, they're welcomed to. I don't have any guidelines, either, so you can do however many pics you want for whatever scene you think would be neat to draw. We're just doing this for fun.

I'll start kicking ideas around for act 2 and try to remember how they did it in the anime - I know it's REALLY different from the manga (like Wayneright being killed in his house rather than the Nightingale).

Oh - before I forget - I need some help with the Nightingale bit. For one thing, Dorothy dressed up and sang before people. We had established Dorian plays guitar, so any ideas of how to work with that? Maybe an open mike night or something? I'm also tempted to have him have a favorite guitar, but he's still an android, so it wouldn't matter to him what he played on. Or would it, just to make him different?

An open mike night would probably work, and as a small token of appeciation to mummy, he plays her favorite song(it could be her birthday or something during act two)

Dorian probably would have a favorite guitar,it would allow for some interesting moments,especially when Roxanne tries to get rid of it*shrugs*

I wanted to do a one shot for Michelle Seebach, but what happened to Mike?How did he find the truth? did he go underground?

CR - Yeah, we'll got for open mike. And since Tina Wayneright based Dorian on her own son, that meant the original Dorian was just a teenage boy who liked his rock music. Besides, I'm pretty sure old lady Wayneright was quite a rebel in her youth. *goes to look up lyrics to Queen's 'Tie Your Mother Down'*

(Frankly, I'm looking forward to finding all those hard rock songs with rancous guitar parts ... Oh, yeah, Dorian also sings along, so it's a double-whammy against Roxanne in the mornings.)

I do like the idea of a favorite guitar. It was a gift from mum so it's the only sentimental thing he has - probably even named it Athena (Teena, Tina, etc). And a delicious line popped into my head!

Roxanne: 'Touch that guitar, Dorian, and I'll break it in half and garrot you with the E-string."

Mike Seebach had indeed gone underground to find the Truth. Evidently, he found Archetype down there and decided to make people listen by getting their attention with Archetype (he went on a rampage with Archetype in volume two of the manga). In the anime, he put Roger on a wild goosechase and stuff before Roger finally went underground.

I'm going to wait for the rest of the episodes on the DVD (pre-ordered it yesterday!) before I write more. 'Electric City' didn't even happen in the manga, and I'd like to do it, since it introduces Angel (of which I know Rouge is looking forward to ^_^).

Jingu - take your time, hon, don't rush. We still need to figure out where we're going to put these stories. Although I am immensely excited about seeing your work!

Well shucks, I feel useless right about now. Can I make the layout and HTML for the final product? I *do* have a website that I'm not exactly using if you're interested.

All right people: for a possible hosting thing: I have asked Krang if he would be able to help us, and if you people send the text to Shredder, they will post it up! Also, if you have pictures to go with it...I think someway you guys can let them know that these pictures go with this story. I might make an artist thread in the next few days, or something. So, from now on, please send the stories to Shredder.

I will have my one-shot one of these days...probably not for another three months...but I can't wait to do mine.

And who says we can't just stick to the stories? I think we could have some off the wall ones like "Chocolate..." or something. (Chocolate is MINE! ALL MINE! *ahem*)

Thanks, pen. *hug* I'll go through and do some more editing, as I realized some parts were kinda off in act 1. I would like to send it as a 'package' to whoever is hosting it - both story (writer sends) and artwork (artist sends) so they can be posted at the same time.

I offered to do the main story-arcs. One-shots can be slipped in anywhere. Season one was pretty loose and allows time for one-shots to be done, so no problem in that respect. (You all heard that - the 'chocolate shot' is pen's baby! ^_^)

CR - Don't post anything here. I'm going to get the ball rolling this week by finding out who's going to host it - Paradigm City or Sixfortyfive's site.

Sixfortyfive - You sure you want to host on your site? I'm afraid I'm terrible at uploading anything like you suggested in your PM, so could I just email it to you? And, yeah, we still need a name ...

Jingu, what kind of scanner do you have? and what kind of pen do you use for inking? (is it a normal pen or an artist pen?).

I want to have my own domain, but I am pennyless and I know I am lazy when it comes to layouts.
