[Fan Fiction] Big O Parallel Universe

C.R Foxhound 01-06-2004 11:32 AM
The blood red sky turned black as if seemingly millions of flying megadei appeared. Then as if on cue, they all burst in an ungodly explosion the shook the heavens and earth.

The dark figure held its hands up to the heavens and proclaimed,

"This! This is the lie they say happened forty years ago! This lie is what they say to hide the truth about this city, this prison, this purgatory!!!"

Michelle was frozen in place and the music seemed to be coming to a climax. She was no longer surrounded by flames but by white light. A bright glow seemed to come from the body of the figure standing before her. It held out it arms to Michelle, beckoning.

"Open your ears, your heart, your mind, Michelle Seebach, and I will show you the truth! I will show you how the world really is!!"

The bright glow became even brighter on Michelle's face. Her hair was matted and blood was caked in the crevices of her face. Her eyes were fully open, taking in the whole of the image before her. Her heart was racing and she gasped for air, between breaths she muttered a simple phrase -

" ... my god ... "

* * *

Alexia Rosewater shifted in her chair.

She sat and looked out the huge glass window on the top floor of the Paradigm Building and down to the city below.

A buzzing noise was heard and Alexia turned her chair around. She pressed a red button and pressed her face close to a speaker.

"Yes?" she said in a completely bored manner.

"M-M-Ms. Rosewater, something has come for you," a shaky voice over the intercom stated.

Alexia raised her eyebrows. "And what is this 'thing'?"

"Um, I'll bring it to you, ma'am."

Alexia pulled away from the speaker, perplexed, and raised her head when the giant double doors of her office opened.

A young, meek-looking male secretary walked in, holding an item in his hands.

It was an old typewriter.

It was scratched up and some of the letters on the keys had worn away. A single sheet of paper was in the machine.

The secretary brought the typewriter over to Alexia's desk and placed it there before her. Alexia looked up at the secretary. He bowed and quickly left the room. She gazed down at the typewriter and saw there was a message type-written on the paper -

"The Truth Shall Be Known!"

The message had a signature that simply read:

Signed,

Schwarzwald

C.R Foxhound, this was very good. I liked it.

I could see this happening in the original (for the lack of a better term) Big O Parallel Universe.
BigPrime 01-06-2004 01:12 PM
Very interesting reading, CR Foxhound! Really pulled me in. I even fired up Name of God on iTunes to give it the feel of the show. Cool

Nice backfill on Seebach/Schwarzwald, C.R Foxhound! I can easily imagine something like this happening in the original Paradigm as well.

Have a tasty Roxanne Smith dogbiscuit from me! *Scratches ears*

spoiler (highlight to read):
HOLY S***

I just read all of this stuff and I cannot believe my eyes....
This is awesome stuff but you're all @#$%in' mad.

DORIAN WILL PLAY OZZFEST W00T!!
Lady Tesser 02-27-2004 01:56 PM
Thanks, Rekkoha. Being called 'mad' or 'crazy' at least once a day makes me sleep better at night.

Sorry I haven't thrown act 4 out yet - the introduction of Michelle 'Schwarzwald' Seebach and the Archetype - the combination of a full time course load and my cat's recent death has left me emotionally drained for the most part, and act 4 is quite emotional for all characters involved. I might start on it this weekend.

I can promise you, though, the fight between Big O and Archetype will be quite different!

And there will be more Dorian-Roxanne bickering. Big Grin

o wow! what a cool idea.

This has definitely inspired some ideas for fan art Smile As soon as i can find some time, i'll completely read through this and draw some pics.

hey pen, you ever do "Roxanne the Chocoholic"?

ROXANNE SMITH: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!

Sweatdrop Um...no Crying ...and I need to get on that (I'm horrible! I should find my attempted start...wonder where that went...). I guess I can try this: If anyone is willing to draw a pic of Roxanne and her chocolate (please include Dorian some where[Oh I hope I got his name right!]) and can link to it, please do and please PM me the link.

We must attempt to get this project up again! Tongue

Edit: I'll try to get on that in between everything else. Big Grin

Rejoice, I have begun work on act 4.

*everyone tiredly moans 'yay' in a bored manner*

I guess the revitalized thread helps. I now know there is interest for it again.

This is also a call out for anyone who may have ideas for RP stories that would be more common to this universe than in canon. I welcome other writers to create their own stories to give background to this world and-or characters found only here - like Beth Gold or Tina Wayneright or Norma Burg. Male writers are welcomed, too - remember that Dog-chan wrote Michelle's journey into insanity and had written it beautifully.

Other than that, artists have acts 2 and 3 to draw from as well as character studies. And my description of the characters on the first page don't have to be exact - if you find some other look suits them better, I can work with it, no problem.

*Dog-chan kicks Director's Chair out from under Tess*

Uh, anyway, do what you guys want to add to the richness of RP. ^_^
JinguJ 02-27-2004 06:55 PM
So do you want me to change the suits? I'm allright with whatever Big Grin

And I have to reread act 2 and 3.. -_-;

Oh yeh. About the site... where's sixfortyfive?

*tiredly moans 'Yay'*

Using words based off of 'walk' in the same sentence so close to each other seems to just stick out oddly.

Too bad Angel wasn't on the side of the bridge as Roxanne jumped, he would've gotten one good view Tongue .

Aside from the first quote I made, this story ROCKS. Sharp rocks. Jagged. Painful. Don't wanna mess with these rocks.
My normal instincts have given me a slight attactment to Roxanne. Go testosterone!
*people wildly cheer Yay*
I just don't understand what's with the chocolates. I ca understand Dorian's want to give Roxanne neccesary sugar's (be much better if I simply gave her an IV filled with glucose or ATP) but the whole hershey kiss thing has me perplexed.
meh
KEEP IT UP! Or I'll sick Big, what would it be, Mars, on you?
Lady Tesser 02-27-2004 07:16 PM
*raspberries* Good point. If I were an English teacher, I probably wouldn't be a writer. Big Grin

(And Roxanne was wearing a pants suit, so he wouldn't see much but the seams of her trousers. She wore the outfit mainly because she knew it was going to be cold and wearing a skirt in the country is just a 'no-no'. She always wears the skirt-suit in the city - she's going back to it in act 4.)

Roxanne's 'Thing' is her chocolate. Like Roger has his liquor, Roxanne has her chocolate. If you want broad brush strokes, it's a female thing, but this is specifically a Roxanne thing.

And I'm glad you like her. She's one of my favorite characters, too.

Your piece works really well for Swarzwald, whether its Michelle or Michael. Excellent stuff.

I have been wondering about that myself lately.

Um, I think he left. I coulda sworn there was a goodbye thread for him somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Maybe he didn't make one. Of course, I could be wrong.

BTW: I've started a fanfic for this (sadly not my promised one, but another). Its proving quite interesting... Its turning out to be an exploration of Dorian. He seems a bit depressed about the REAL Dorian.
