"Boom" by P.O.D.

>>Whatever that Big O song is that plays in the menu under sound when you pick Japanese dubbing in Season I.

>>The song that plays at the end of Super Metroid, and the Upper Crateria song from the same game.

>>That song from Ghostbusters 2 Big Grin ... You know which one I mean.

That would be "Sure Promise". Come on man! You gotta refresh your memories. Wink

My choices:
-- Sure Promise (Big O)
-- "Summon the Heroes" ~John Williams
-- "Star Wars" ~John Williams
-- "Patton Theme" ~...guess who?...
-- "March of '1941'" ~...what again!?...
-- Respect - Upper Westside (Big O)
-- Never Could Have Been Worse (Trigun)

There are a lot of them, but we all know the greatest one, of course, is

The Batman Theme by Danny Elfman for... Batman.

Another good one is "Two Hearts" by John Parr. It would be good for a male and female hero team that are also lovers:

Yeah!

You lie awake, your body aches
Livin' your life under the shadow of your father
She's flying high, you don't realize
She's got her share of her own problems in her life

You'd better slow down, you know you're livin' too fast
You're gonna break down, they say you're never gonna last

Two hearts beat as one together
It may not be forever, but it's for now - yeah!
Two kids, they were nothing special
But they both had the metal to say who they are

Two hearts, two hearts

The age gap, the mental lapse, livin' at home can drive you crazy
But you take it
She's workin' hard to hide the scars
Nobody said it would be easy, but she's tryin'

You'd better wake up, too busy livin' in the past
You'd better shape up, 'cause this could be the chance

Two hearts beat as one together
It may not be forever, but it's for now - yeah!
Two kids, they were nothing special
But they both had the metal to say who they are

(LOOOONG solo)

Now it's the showdown, they're gonna put you to the test
You gotta break out, you gotta do your best

Two hearts beat as one together
It may not be forever, but it's for now - yeah
Two kids, they were nothing special
But they both had the metal to say "Here we are" - yeah

Two hearts, when two worlds collide it starts - yeah
Two hearts, when two worlds collide, there's no place to hide
Two hearts

"Montage" (or a slight variation, I think it was shorter) was also in a South Park episode, which is basically a take off of nearly every '80s movie cliche I can think of. (The obligatory "bully" antagonizing Stan, the token girl he has to win away from the bully, a youth center on the verge of being demolished much to the chagrin of a small and multi-ethnic group of teenagers, and of course the way all issues are resolved at the very end by some kind of race. The best part of this is how Stan just has zero interest throughout the episode.)

The Imperial March.
Luke Skywalker's Theme.
Yoda's Theme.

Higher and Higher does kick tons of ass, too.

Duel of the Fates is always good. That One of a Kind song(That WWF/WE/WWTF song...) also kicks all kinds of arse.
