Dick Tracy is one of those movies that is so bad it's funny. The only good thing about this film was the score by Danny Elfman, and the Ice-T song on one of the movie's soundtrack albums.

Ice T was on the soundtrack? That's funny as hell. I should look into that. His song "Cop Killer" is awesome.
Yeah, the movie pretty much sucked. Damn Madonna and her crappy performance. Oh, and Danny Elfman has done much, much better.

Dick Tracy isn't such a bad movie. It certainly has a comic strip feel, and it succeeds with its numerous villains where the Batman franchise fails.
I think what's funny is that star/director Warren Beatty didn't have makeup applied to look like Dick Tracy.

The funniest scene is where Tracy is interrogating Mumbles (Dustin Hoffman).

there were some pretty odd looking people in that film.
I think they were a little too faithful to the strip in that department.

...was cool when I saw it when I was 8. I think I was more captivated by the bright colors than anything else. Now, the movie just reeks. Let it RIP among all the other horrible comic movies that should have NEVER made it to the silver screen.
Need we revisit Madonna butchering Peggy Lee's "Fever?" *shudders* Yes, let's just forget all about that movie...
