Purple Rain

C'mon, this movie is a classic. Has anyone here seen it? It's basically the story of Prince's rise to fame, but instead of playing himself, he plays "The Kid". It's a great movie. I saw it on VH1 today, and I think I wanna get the 2-disc DVD edition at one point or another. And let's not forget THE MUSIC! Some of Prince's biggest hits are in this film!

(In my opinion) Prince is a joke. The only good thing about that movie was Morris Day and the Time. They kick more ass than he does.

Y'know, maybe quoting Jay and Silent Bob wasn't a good idea... How about we just say I agree with Cerpin, eh?

Exactly. However, I actually saw Purple Rain, and remember Morris Day and the Time like the back of my hand in that movie. All in all, the movie sucked the big one, and Prince is just a pansy who knows how to play the guitar. We get a lot of that these days.

With that said...

I'm a Prince & Purple Rain fan. I also like his other movie Under the Cherry moon.

Oh yeah! This movie was actually pretty good! I enjoyed it.
