Ooh, that doesn't sound too far away from my house! ^_^

Yeah...I'm so there. Who else is going?

We'll probably get numbers going in the spring. It is a bit soon right now to know what we'll do in the summer.
I'll put down Almasy and Cerpin for sure ...

Cannot guarantee anything, but put me down for a tentative Southeast shin-dig, COHugh style!

AHH! It's the same weeked as the
MotoGp race at Laguna Seca. Err...umm. **sigh**
Crap. Not again! I missed the Superbike race last year!
**begins crying**
NOOOOO!

Edit: And if you are thinking it's not a big deal, look how much is sold out already

I've been asked by several people (you know who you are!), so we are offically designating Norton Creek Farm as one site for the 2005 cookout. Events will include egg collecting, pen dragging and goat petting.

You forgot frolicking in the fields...
I'm not sure if I'm going. Really depends how things are going for me but a lot can change between now and then so you never know.

I'm afraid I can't offer 'frolicking in the fields' (you'll just end up in a drainage pond or a swamp), but I can offer the ocean, sunburns, and mosquitoes.
Maybe a watergun fight and the Sims2 ...
*needs to continue planning*

I'm tenatively in for the east cost party. The only determining factor will be if I can get the time off. Long story. But I'm smack in between both of them, so I can go either way. North or south, yankee or dixie. What's on the menus? I travel on my stomach.

Well between general economic issues, locations,
and the days involved, I don't think I'll be able to attend....again.

Diverse Considerations, on the menu right now is:
grilled burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers (I'm vegan), smoked pork ribs, and Bryant's BBQ sauce.
*makes a sign of blessing, for Arthur Bryant is God*
Other stuff will include the usual picnic fare.

I am resurrecting this thread in case there have been any recent developments concerning the aforementioned cookouts and because there are a few new members who are interested.
It appears that I will, indeed, be going to either Zola's or Lady Tesser's; either is convenient for us. I have brought it to my parents' attention and they are willing to travel. Granted, I still need to speak with them more about this, at least to them, cryptic situation.

If they want to talk to me, Avenir, no problem. I was planning on sending my number and email out to parents along with the invites (which will probably be in early May).

Thank you, I will inform them of that.

Seriously, though... there's a whole lot of PCFers on both the east and west coasts. The logical solution? Meet in the middle! ;D

Well, I'll be doing my darnedest to attend Zola's cookout once again this year. It was a lot of fun last year, so I wouldn't dare miss it this year.

I'd gladly go, but I'm kinda landlocked here in the UK
And for that reason, be sure to take lots of pics!

I have no doubt there will be plenty. Heck, I even plan to bring the family video camera along in addition to my personal digital still, which is prbably something just about everyone will be bringing.

Yes, you two could found a Midwest Cookout! The more the merrier, I say! After all, that's the reason there was a West Coast cookout last year, and why there's a Florida one this year. Heck, I'd let you use my webcam.
