Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Last weekend, I went and saw the movie Ocean's 12. Great movie, highly recommend you all seeing it.

During the previews, I saw the trailer for the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Has anybody heard of this? I thought the trailer was splendid. And seeing Angelina Jolie do her super spy action hero thing (besides Lara Croft) was impressive. Brad Pitt looked to be in his top form too. Over the years, surprisingly, Ive definitely grown an appreciation for his acting talents. Probably because of his performances in Fight Club, Seven, and Ocean's 12. It looks a little like a play on the Arnold Schwarzenegger/Jamie Lee Curtis movie "True Lies", but for some reason, this looks a whole lot better. I dont want to give too much away from the movie, but the plot appears to be about Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Pitt and Jolie) who are a married couple and secretly superspies/government agents. They keep that part of their lives a secret from their spouse, and dont let on to what their true occupations are. Over time, I believe the agents get their assignments: to take out the other agent, i.e. their spouse. Interesting stuff...definitely sets up some intrigue, in my opinion.

Has anybody else seen the trailer or heard about the movie? Anyway, Im pretty excited about it...looking forward to them doing their thing...

My friend showed me the trailer for this a little while ago. It looks pretty cool, though it looks like it's going to have a lot of corny parts in it. I'll probably see it anyway, though.

Is this the one about the husband and wife who are like agents or hit men and they attempt to kill each other? (I think so...)

I want to see it. My mom and I saw a preview on TV during Thanksgiving and we think it'll be a funny movie!

Its got Angelina Jolie, how can you go wrong? Plus, yeah, its about secret agent spouses that try to kill each other...sounds good to me...and yeah, there'll probably some corniness and one liners that are expected...but thats part of the genre kind of.
