Most triumphant movie ever dudes and dudettes! The dopeyness of these two and the hilarious one liners make this movie worth watching. I can see now why this is a true movie for it's time. Allow me to demonstrate with this short piece from the movie.
Mr. Ryan: "Ted, what can you tell me about Joan of Arc?"
Ted: "Uh....... she was Noah's wife?"

I love this move! My favorite quote is:
Bill: "Ted, you're alive."
Ted: "Yeah, I fell off my sh** when I hit the floor."
** they hug **
Bill and Ted (in unison to each other): Fag!!!
And :
Missy: Hi, Bill. Hi, Ted. Need a ride?
Bill: Sure, Missy. I mean, Mom.
[She smiles]
Ted: [whispering to Bill] Your step-mom's cute.
Bill: Shut up, Ted.
Ted: Remember when she was a senior and we were freshman?
Bill: Shut up, Ted.

I'll always have a warm spot in my heart for this movie for reviving interest in Queen. And in influencing Greek philosophy, in the person of So-krates (sic): "Dust in the wind ... all we are is dust in the wind."

This reminds me of a discussion we were having the other day. Someone came up with the greatest possible ending for the Matrix trilogy ever. He said that it should have ended with Ted (or whichever one was Keanu Reeves) waking up and then saying, "Whoa...I just had the craziest dream ever..."
Man that would've been hilarious.

I love that movie.
Here's mine:
Socrates: (speaking Greek)
Subtitle: Like sand to the hourglass, so are the "Days of our Lives."

I paticularly enjoyed the historical figures being let loose at the local mall - Joan leading an aerobics class, Napolean polishing off a huge sundae, Beethoven discovering synthesizers, and Freud trying to chat up the girls.
Although I find it truly ironic that an entire civilization was created on the music (and air guitar work) of a couple of airheaded boys. Philosophy majors were throwing fits.
I agree, Lt. Smith, that would have been the best ending for the Matrix movies. ^_^

Awesome movie.
"If you're me, than what number am I thinking of right now?"
"Sixtynine, dude!"

Easily one of the best movies for quotes ever:
"Billy the Kid, you are handling the oddity of time travel with the greatest of ease!"
"Bill, my friend?"
"Yes, Ted, my friend?"
"I have a feeling we are about to embark upon a most unprecedented expedition!"
But the best scene is the presentation of their history project.

I always used to confuse this movie with the Waynes world movies when I was younger(like prepubescent young). I found it was sort of overkill to go through all that for an A+ though. Oh. The civillization off of music thing rocks! Dude! That like, would be most excellent!
