On TNT right now...
I saw it last week, it's awesome. This has got to be an idea thought of after seeing Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark....I mean this is sooo much like an indiana jones movie (except without the Nazis).
The gags are wonderful and it's so...so....INTERESTING @_@ I love the movie ^_^

Ok...this movie...I had high hopes for. What a let down. I am not a cheesy movie person, then the "catch phrases" with libraries, come on! "I think THIS belongs to the library." Big Whoop.
(But then, this is coming from a librarian's standpoint.)
Thank goodness that the stereotype for librarians are changing. They are seen as smart people and still clumsy, but at least it's not just a female profession!
What I think, was that it was a waste of my two hours. IF there is a sequel, I certainly hope they do better. I don't know. I didn't enjoy it, but then maybe I went into it was too high hopes. What confused me is that they didn't want the spear together....so why did they go out for part number two and three? That was a dumb move.

| According to the legend then, the Library would have power over the world since it was put together. |
I did like the secret agent stuff, but as I told my friends, I saw this as a cheap American Rip off of Read or Die.

I first heard of this about three minutes before it aired. Having nothing better to do, I left the TV on to let it play. At first, I was wondering if someone had made some freakish live-action version of Read or Die. It reminded me of explorer/archielogist movies such as Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider. It let me discover a new name for the spear of Longinus, and it had lots of facts about this and that. The final fight scenes were a dissapointment. I think they could've been handled much better. Overall, I liked it, but I wouldn't buy it.
BTW, wouldn't a live-action Read or die be neat to watch? I'd use up a lot of CGI, but it could very well happen.

I liked close to the end how the person helping the librarian was like: "

| Get your own nerd." to the evil girl helping the guy trying to get the spear. Also the part where she wrode up in the crotch rocket or moped (sp?) at that outdoor cafe thing and the guys mother was there, she looked fairly shocked |
