HELP!
MSNM is NOT working. It was working yesturday, I'm the only one who knows my password, and I did not do anything (cause I dont want to screw anything up.) Well, I get on today and MSNM cannot verify any permissions. So, I created a new hotmail account and signed into messenger with it, and it worked! WTF?! HELP ME!!!

My guess is that either there's a temporary problem with your account, or someone somehow gained access to your account and changed your password. Just to be sure, use MSN's Forgot Password page to reset your password. If the new password still doesn't work, you'll need to contact customer support and see if they can look into the problem.

You should be able to do that by clicking on it once and pressing the Delete key on the keyboard. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll look into it further (it's been a while since I've used WMP, so I'm going off memory for this one).

WMP 10 is geared toward compatibility with portable media devices and purchasing music online. I'm assuming that it's backward compatible, though, so it should be able to play anything that WMP 9 can play. I don't have it installed, though, so I'm not 100% sure about that...

Ok, here's an odd one. Every once in a while I've been getting an error message from DRWTSN32.EXE. I didn't start the program, and there's at least two running when I get the error message. I'll try to grab a screen shot next time it happens for more details.

Dr. Watson is a debugging application built into Windows that attempts to catch errors from other applications. In order to help you solve the problem, I would need to see the error message, so let me know when you get a screenshot.

If it only works on Windows computers, it is most likely in AVI format using a codec. You'll need to copy the AVI file to your hard drive and encode it again using the standard DVD format (MPEG2), then burn it back onto a DVD.
(As a side note, your signature is too big, so please resize it to a maximum of 250 pixels in height. If you need help resizing the pictures, let me know.)

When the DVD is in the drive, go to My Computer, right-click the DVD Drive, and click Open. From there, you should see a file listing. Copy the file to your hard drive, and convert it to DVD format (this process will differ depending on which video editing and DVD burning programs you use). After that, you can burn it back onto a DVD, which should then be compatible with all (or at least most) DVD players.

Still waiting for it to happen again.
But in the mean time! I've found "Wild Tangent" through Spybot- S&D over and over again this week. I had in the past installed it to play games on AIM. I was pretty sure I had removed it completely (aside from the control panel button), but this past week makes me think otherwise.
I've run hijack this, since seeing it, but it keeps coming back. I have it so that ZoneAlarm Pro denies it any access to the net.

Actually, that just looks like a leftover registry key. If Spybot S&D is not removing it correctly, open up regedit (from Start Menu > Run) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Java VM. Find the "Classpath" entry in the right pane, and edit the string to remove everything from the path except for the one with the Windows directory in it and the one that is a single period (it should look similar to this when you're done:
C:\WINDOWS\java\classes;. ). After that, run Spybot again and it should be gone (but if it comes back again later on, there may still be traces of WT on your computer).

Thanks Krang, did that. So far no WT, but I'll keep an eye out.

Getting a search engine to recognize your site is rather hard. They often use different methods of finding sites but they don't often say what exactly those methods are so nobody can cheat the search engine into getting a particular result. Try getting similar sites to notice you so they can link to your site. Also, if you get more visitors to your site then you are more likely to be recognized by the search engine. As far as I know, there isn't really any foolproof methods of getting recognized by a search engine. All you can really do is try to get others to find your site and hope for the best.

Try this form:
http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request
Once you submit your site, Yahoo's bot will crawl it and your site will show up in a few days. Also, here is the form for Google:
