Gat - Your avatar is quite impressive. Samus is very clean, and the colors are pretty vivid as far as that character goes. Its a little blurry or miscolored in some small areas, but nothing that really takes away from the image. I agree with "Big W", that border doesn't fit perfectly, maybe a black or the same green thats on her mask would fit better? All and all I'd ate yours a well deserved 5/5 - Nice Job!

Wienberg - Very seasonal Big Grin . The avatar has bright colors, and quality is quite good. Its a little blurry, somewhat miscolored due to the way the origional video was made. Thats something you can't do much about. It looks very good, and fits the Christmas theme very well (no mathing banner?). The border does not stand out much, but you can tell its there and it serves its purpose. This is another well deserved 5/5 - Keep it up!

Benjamin - Hmm, the more I look at this avatar the less I like it... although I do have a strange craving for soda now... Anyway, the avatar itself is just a little boring. I mean a black background isn't exciting, and the only action is the spinning lines. Its a cool effect, but its just not very artistic. Its hard to rate the non-artistic ones because, well honestly, thier not meant to be rated for quality. I would have to say that the hypno effect was a good try, but its just not personal or fun to look at (at least in my opinion, maybe others do enjoy it). I'd give it a 2/5

Manji...it's a dog and it looks like it's a really complex image, but it's hard to make out because it's a bit dark. I wish I could see the corner of it a bit better.

ummm 7/10

You and modeling Embarrassed Sweatdrop well can't say that I am attracted to ya but the quality and effects are nice so I am going to give you a 9/10 because I think a white border would look great on it Smile

COHugh,
Quality of image is pretty good. There is some grain, but is hardly noticable. Overall, the clarity is pretty good, and the color contrast could be better. The border fits pretty well with the image. Overall, a very good avatar. I give it a 8.5/10

GummiBear289,
Quality of image is very good. The clarity is just about right, and the color contrast is pretty nice as well. There isn't any grain or artifacts that I notice. Overall, it's very nice. I give it a 9/10

RogersGirl,
Quality of image is pretty good. There isn't any grain or artifacts at all, and the clarity is pretty good. The only problem is that it's pretty small for the most part. Perhaps if it were 100x100 pixels, it could be better. Other than that, it's pretty good. I give it a 8.5/10

Benjamin,
Quality of image is good. There is some grainy artifacts, but is hardly noticable, as is with COHugh's avatar. Clarity is pretty good, but the color contrast could be better. Overall, it's pretty nice as a whole. I give it a 8.5/10

R.Jesse,
Quality of image is pretty nice. There isn't any artifacts or grain that I can see at all. The border fits well with the image. There isn't much room for a background, though, but that's based on personal preference. Clarity is good, and the color contrast is pretty good also. Overall, a pretty nice avatar. I give it a 8.5/10

Umino,
Quality of image is very nice. This is perhaps one of your best avatars yet. The clarity is pretty good, and the color contrast is just about right. I don't notice any artifacts at all. Overall, very nice. I give it a 9/10

Grunger Kittie Version 1,
Quality of image is pretty nice. There is some slightly noticable grain, but again it's pretty hard to look at. Clarity for the most part is good and the color contrast is good also. The text is pretty good; looks a little pixelized, though. Overall, very good job. I give it a 8.5/10

YoruameBaroness,
Quality of image is very good. The clarity is nice, and the black and white style seems to work out fine. It looks like an old movie. The animation isn't very smooth, though. Perhaps if you add more frames with the old style added to it, it could look more like an old movie. Overall, very nice. I give it a 8.5/10

Madrona,
Quality of image is pretty good for the most part. There isn't any grain or artifacts that I notice at all, and the clarity is pretty good also. There's no border, but it works in this case. Overall, it's pretty nice. I give it a 9/10

Manji,
Quality of image is nice. The clarity is pretty good, and the color contrast is good also. There isn't any grainy artifacts at all. It also looks pretty cool. Overall, it's a very nice avatar. I give it a 9/10

Hey! It's what's-her-name from Last Exile! Tatiana! Yeah, that was it. Anyway, I didn't really care much for her in the series, but the avatar is a good picture of her, and it's nice and clear. I like it, even if I don't particularly like the subject matter. 9/10

Darth Nat:

Not bad. I actually like the fact that it's wider than it is tall. It certainly doesn't draw away from it, and adds character. Coloration is good, the only place with any clarity issues is around the face, and overall it's pretty good. One thing that does irk me a bit is how off-center the character is. Though, it's probably necessary to see the background.

9/10
COHugh 12-26-2004 08:38 PM
Trisa: I loved Tatiana... ::shrugs:: She's just misunderstood! Wink 9/10
(Oh! The quality of the pic is due mainly to the fact that I got the screen cap from a fansub posted online. See, Madrona? That's why I want to buy the eps on DVD... Wink Does the new one look any better?)

Darth Nat: No idea who that is, but cool nonetheless - 9/10

Wienberg: I've always enjoyed that "aged" pic... 10/10

Actually, I was just trying to get all of his hair into the avatar, the background is really secondary, and it surprised me how well it ended up looking even though it's just part of a much larger background. As for the face, that's about as sharp as I could get it without the colors becoming pixelated and the lines bold and jagged.

As for who it is, COHugh, it's Paptimus Scirocco, the sinister Newtype villain from Zeta Gundam.

Wienburg: a very nice picture, and I suppose it is supposed to look archaic. It's a bit mysterious, and it makes me wonder just what is supposed to be the focus: the bridge, or the people? 9/10

COHugh: it looks like a giant robot. I love giant robots. Not sure what it's from, but it's nice-looking nonetheless. 9/10

Actually, it's a human-sized man inside organic alien armor. It's Tekkaman Blade, *THE* *COOLEST* anime EVAR!!!! Now that I'm dl'ing the fansubs, I'll probably start using more Tekkaman avatars. Big Grin

COHugh:

It fits together nicely. Even though it's mosly in shadow, the outline is still discernible. The limitted color pallatte works.

However, clarity is lacking, which is unfortunate. If it were just a touch sharper, you'd be golden.

One last thing. The border stands in too much contrast. Perhaps a light grey would work nicely.

8.2/10
