Interesting is a good word to sum it up. Original is another word that comes to mind. The image quality could probably be a little better, though, as the image is rather grainy. Otherwise...it goes with your theme and personality, so I suppose bonus points for that.
Just clean up the grain, I think, and you have yourself a pretty good avatar there. Overall, I'll give it a 7.5/10.

The image quality is very good. I do not notice any grain or odd artifacts at all. The image itself is very nice, and goes with your current theme. I don't see anything wrong with it, so I'll give it a 9/10. Nice avatar overall.

Heh, it's been a long time since making avatars was really fun, nobody really seems to care on any other forums, thats one of the great things about paradigm- a lot of great artists.
Anyway...
Angelcakes: Fairly clear, not a lot of grain or blur, and the image is very light. But the catch is in the lack of truely vibrant colors, the image doesn't jump out as much it could if you had increased the contrast and had more saturated pinks, that really brings down the overall effect the image has on the viewer. The face is a little off-center too, and I would think the eyes should be the focus of the picture. The border's a nice touch though. Overall, it just seems a little average, but like I said, the members on here are good artists, so take it for what you will - 3/5
Mike: Right off the bat, I'd say car logo's are pretty cool avatars. They're simple, meaningful, and recognizable. So it's a good idea, but then it goes a little downhill. The image is pretty grainy for one. I assume it's probably the logo on your car in real life? Because thats one of the common problems about photographing shiny things, they reflect, and it alters the color of the chrome or reflective surface, which turns a simple design into a complex mashup design. This could've been done better if it were a vector image, or one simply made through digital means, like this. Anyway, I'd say it's somewhere around average, maybe a 3/5, nothing wrong with idea, just the final product.
Phoenix: This a very cool one! Very vibrant colors, and the contrast of colors is awsome. The fading effect on the woman is great, and so is the sktchy edges of the circle. Great job, you definately haven't lost your skill. 5/5
Asirt: Another really cool image, with vibrant colors and a cool transparency effect. No noticable problems, obviously no bad blurring or grain. There really isn't really a lot to say about it, but it does deserve a high score, I think the only thing that would keep it from falling into the "perfect" category is just personality, because it doesn't say a lot about you, and it doesn't really fit a theme. It is a great avatar though, 4/5.
